The touranment was at my friends house.  I played all types of decks from
fighting to electric to complete colorless.  I ended up playing six
people.  

The first deck I played was water and fighting.  His best card was a
Blastoise.  He never got it evolved though.  I killed his wartortle so he
used it with pokemon trader and two turns later I picked up my sixth
prize.  

The next deck I played was electric and water.  He had two Richu and two
Bastoise.  He to never got a Blastoise out either.  I killed his two
Richu with a Nidoking and Raticate.  I only took me eleven turns to beat
him.   

The next deck I played was fire and psycic.  Great, fire.  Charmander,
Charmelon, Charaizard all in four turns.  It took me a Nidorino and a
Alakazam to kill that freakin card.  I thought I might lose because of
that.  Victory came soon afterwards.  It turned out his deck was mainly
just around the Charaizard. 

The next deck was completly colorless.  Four Rattata, three Raticate,
Four Pidgy, three Pidgyotto.  Thank heven for Venasaur.  I used his
pokemon power more that game than the amount I've ever used it before.  

The next deck was a complete mix.  This should be easy I thought.  Boy, I
was wrong.  Gosh, I shure hate Alakazam when you dont have him in play.

And finally, the championship.  Deck made of complete fighting.  Four
Diglett, Four Dugtrio, Four Hirmonchan, Four Machop, Four Machoke, Four
Machamp.  It went pretty fast.  Eleven turns later Four Dugtrio down, two
Hitmonchan to go.  Five turns later.  I'm the best.  Hellooooooo, five
booster packs!
