Hi my name is joe c. I am 13, Love poke'mon and play it day and night. 
My deck is the ultimate water-fighting machine. I played it at a tournament
november 10th at the riverhead toy's r us in n.y. Not many people came but
even so I think i did very well!

    there were 2 rounds and a final:

    round 1: vs. jimmie (fire deck)
my starting hand was o.k. but not great. He put up vulpix against my seel. it
was my turn first and laid 20 on vulpix. takes two energy to power vulpix so
next turn he's gone. By this time i have a benched hitmonlee with two energy.
 he sent charmander and (oww) scrached seel for ten.  I evoled into dewgong
and his fire deck was pathetic from here on in.   (*record:1-0*)

    round 2: vs. jonathan (psy/grass)
this could've been easily my hardest match.  I started out with hitmonlee, he
had abra. it takes 3 energy to power him (hitmonlee) so I WAS ALMOST KILLED
WITH AN ABRA! sorry for caps!  I get first turn and yes put 1 energy. abra
psyshocks for 20, yet again (oww). I put another under hitmonlee and abra
hits for another 20. I put 1 more enengy under hitmonlee and he creams abra.
Jon's luck ran out, no more basics.  I win (yeah)!

    finals: vs. mikey (grass/fire/psy)
I had played him the day before at a sleepover type deal and beat him. he
started out with moltres and i got magikarp. moltres takes too much energy,
beat him in 4 turns. I now have gyrados in play and on the bench. He took out
venusaur 1 energy short and i laid fifty on venusaur he put an energy on lean
mean green machine and killed gyrados.  I sent out another gyrados and killed
venusaur.  He put out hypno and put 30 on gyrados after using a energy
removal and winded up beating me.  I picked up and put hitmonchan on the
bench so i had a fully pumped wigglytuff in play.  He laid 60 on hypno and he
cant touch me because of resistance. I beat hypno and kill puny basics for
the big win.  (*record:3-0*)

yesss! my first ever tournament and i clean house. I got 4 boosters all
fossil and as a good sport, gavem to mikey.
