I finally got to play in a tourney the first one in my town

I finally got to play in a tourney the first one in my town. It was held at Toys "R" Us in Bloomington Illinois on saturday the 6th of November. It was kind of tough because i was using a new deck and i had only played 2 practice games with it. So i was a little shaky.

I got a crappy hand and i thought my day was done! I got two dratinis one ser a breeder and two water. She got a hitmonchan and a scyther. she went first and jabbed for 20. Then i drew the greatest card i could have drew. I got an oak. Played my water energy and oaked. I got an er, a ser, a dragonair, a double colorless a poliwag and two water energy. I energy removed her and evolved my benched dratini. She went but didn't have another fighting so she played an electric on scyther. I put a double colorless on the benched dragonair and i drew another double colorless. She went but this time she got an energy search and got a fighting energy. She koed the dratini but i had already done 20 damare to her chan. My turn, I stuck our dragonair played my double colorless and hyper beamed for 20 and got rid of her fighting energy. Next turn she drew another electric and played it on scyther. I slammed and killed her chan. I drew a poliwag. I just kept hyperbeaming til i won going through a scyther and an electabuzz that she drew at the last minute.

I drew a poliwrath, a breeder, a bill,3 water energy and a psyduck. I lost the flip and he went first. He had a fossil on his bench, and a Hitmonlee out. He played a fighting and i went. I drew an er and removed the fighting then i played a water and fury swiped him doing 20 damage. Next turn he evolved his fossil to kabuto and played a fighting on kabuto. I went and drew a bill, and then i got a double colorless and a poliwag. I played poliwag and put a water on him, then i fury swiped for 10 damage. He evolved to kabutops and played another fighting. He also played a fossil. I played breeder and went to poliwrath. I played the double colorless and retreated the psyduck and koed his lee. He sent out the fossil and evolved to omanyte forcing me to play with my hand visible. He put another fighting on kabutops and told me to go. I went and drew an er and removed one fighting and then i killed the omanyte with a whirlpool. Then i just whirlpooled his kabutops a couple of times and he couldn't do any damage. I won again. Go me!

I got no basics so he drew 2. Then i got a psyduck, a poliwag, a golduck, 3 water energy, and a ser. I went first and played a water on my psyduck and fury swiped to do 20 to hi voltorb. He went and played a fossil Zapdos on his bench, and he put an electric on it. My turn, I drew an oak and played a water on psyduck. I fury swiped and did 0 damage ( that sucked). He played a second electric on Zappy and played a jungle pikachu. I went and drew a dragonair. I played a water and evolved to golduck and hyper beamed him for the ko. For my prize i got a wrath. He went and sent out pikachu. He put an energy on pikachu and i went. I got another dragonair and i played a water on wag and i forgot to attack. That started my problems. He went and played another electric on pikachu. He sparked doing 40 to golduck and 10 to my wag. I went and i drew a bill I got a dratini and a double colorless. I played dratini and thenput a double on him. i hyper beamed leaving pikachu with 30 hp. He went and put another energy on zapdos and it was my turn.

I got a water and i put it on dratini and evolved. I killed his pikachu in 2 turns and he sent out a zapdos with 5 electric on it. He did thundersorm and killed golduck and put 20 on poliwag. I sent out poliwag and drew an ser i played a water energy and ser his zapdos. Then he went and got another voltob but no energy. I went and i drew another dratini and put it on the bench. He went and He played an electrode and used buzzap to play two electric on zapdos. He thunderstormed and did 20 to dragonair and dratini killing my wag. Then i went and drew the breeder i needed. I sent out my dragonair and played a water on himand i hyper beamed removing the buzzaped electrode.I remembered i didn't draw a prize for the electrode and i drew an er. He didn't get an energy, and then i went and slammed. I got lucky and flipped two heads to ko his zapdos. He sent out the voltorb. He played another electric and computer searched for a pikachu. He tackled and I koed his voltorb with another set of lucky flips with slam: )! He sent out pikachu and evolved to Fossil Raichu and played another electric. I hyper beamed 3 times and then slammed to kill his Raichu for the win.

I got a psyduck and he got a magmar. I went first, and played a water and fury swiped for 40 because of weakness. He went and played a fire and smokescreened. Then i went and i flipped tails on the smokescreen. He didn't draw another basic and smokescreened again. This time i flipped heads on the smokescreen. I flipped a tails then two heads on fury swipes and got the win. It was a kind of crappy way to win the championship but i won.
