tourney:
I traded for 2 of the aerodactals later on, before that I used
2 fossil magmars, but at the actual tourney, I used this deck it was 2-1
single loss elimination
round 1:
I played some 11 year old kid with a water/ fighting/psychic
deck
I got out an electabuzz, chansey, and
mysterious fossil in my opening hand
he got a psyduck, machop, mysterious fossil, and a squirtle
He won the coin toss and after that, all I remember is that he
got 2 quick kills on my chansey (I did double edged 1 once)
and I finally got aerodactal on my bench so he couldn't evolve,
I put electabuzz as my active pokemon and I killed all his water pokemon, I
won, 6 prizes to 2.
round 2:
I played a girl named Melanie or something like that (I play
her dad a lot and have an even 4-4 record with him)
she had a fire/water deck
I got a electabuzz, mysterious fossil, and fossil zapdos as my
opening hand
she got a growlithe, ponita, and squirtle
I killed her ponita with buzz and got a base zapdos as my
prize. I put him on my bench and powered him up.
Buzz had 20 hp left against a squirtle when zapdos was powered
up, I used a switch I drew to put out zapdos and kept using thunder (I killed
another growlithe, fossil magmar, ponita, and another squirtle with him)
I won, 6 pizes to 0
round 3:
I played this cheater named sean, and when I say cheater, I
mean cheater. I don't mean to complain, but he puts up to 3 energies per turn,
says he used one trainer, and it's different, and that's just what I can see
clearly, I catch him sometimes but I can see him do stuff when I'm not
looking, strange thing is that his mom's right there.
I don't remember much except that I caught him cheating 7 times
and I could see him do stuff while it was my turn. I don't even know how many
prizes he drew. Although he drew 2 at one time and i got him to put 1 back :(
Anyways, I got a 1st edition prerelease aerodactal holo for
winning twice
