Hey everyone, this was the first real tournament that I have ever been to.
It was 3 rounds of Swiss where the winner of a game got 6 points and the
loser got points equal to the number of Pokemon they knocked out and then the
best out of them went into the Semi-Finals.  I used my Fossilized Haymaker:

Energy:
7 Fighting Energy
7 Fire Energy
6 Lightning Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy

Pokemon:
3 Hitmonchan
3 Fossil Magmar
3 Electabuzz
3 Scyther

Trainers:
4 Energy Removal
4 Super Energy Removal
4 PlusPower
4 Scoop Up
4 Energy Search
2 Energy Retrieval
3 Professor Oak

I was too excited about playing so I did not really take the time to write
down a lot of information, but this is what I remember:

Round 1: Swiss Round 1 vs. Psychic/Colorless deck

I do not really remember much about this round except that the guy I went
against got out 2 Kadabras and one other Colorless Pokemon and I knocked them
all out with my Magmar without getting any damage at all.  He lost because he
ran out of Basics.
(6 Points, 1-0)

Round 2: Swiss Round 2 vs. Water/Colorless deck.

This round was just as easy as the first.  The kid I was playing against got
out 2 Seels, a Squirtle, and some Colorless Pokemon.  I knocked them all out
with my Electabuzz and only got 2 damage the whole time from a headbutting
Seel. He lost from running out of Basics.
(12 Points, 2-0)

Round 3: Swiss Round 3 vs. Dan Stark with an all Colorless deck.

I only knew the name of this guy because I know him from outside of the
tournament( he is friends with one of my cousins).  He thought he was going
to run the tournament today, because their was a mix-up, so he only had his
Colorless deck. I mulliganed the first turn and he drew 2 cards.  I started
with 2 Hitmonchan and he started with a Spearow and a lot of other basics on
his bench.  His Spearow got annoying because of it's resistance to Fighting.
I powered up my benched Hitmonchan, Scooped Up my active Hitmonchan with 6
counters, and slowly Special Punched the Spearow to death.  He beat on me
with Energy Removals and his Doduo, and then I got a Scyther out and beat on
his birds.  With 1 prize left he tried to stall using a Lickitung, but then
he failed Paralyze, and a Plus Powered Special Punch from a Hitmonchan
finished him off.
(18 Points, 3-0)

The players in the final four were:
Me with my Haymaker
My cousin, Stephen, with his Fighting/Psychic deck
A kid with a Rain Dance deck
A kid with a Fighting/Colorless deck

I played against the Rain Dance deck and my cousin played against the
Fighting/Colorless deck.

Round 4: Semi-Finals vs. Rain Dance w/ Chanseys

At the beginning of this match, we each knew each other's decks and we
decided that the winner of this match would probably win the whole
tournament.  We asked me if I would like to split the prizes 50/50.  We ended
up deciding to split it 8 boosters and 6 boosters.  When I drew my hand I
immediately regretted it.  I got 2 Electabuzzes and they started beating on
his starting Chansey.  When his Chansey got knocked out he brought out a
Blastoise and did 50 damage to my Electabuzz .  I Thunder Punched his
Blastoise, but next turn he Super Potioned and knocked out my Electabuzz.  I
brought out a Scyther and Slashed and then when he say my Electabuzz would
knock out his Blastoise on my next turn he forfeited.
(4-0)

My cousin lost in the semi-finals and I had to play against the person who
beat him with a Fighting/Colorless deck.

Round 5: Finals vs. Fighting/Colorless

This kid saw my deck earlier and he knew that I was 1st place in the PoJo's
Online Apprentice League, which was pretty cool, but he made a lot of
mistakes that the judge let slide.  First, he started drawing his cards
before I could shuffle, and the judge made him let me shuffle and redraw.  I
started with 2 Electabuzzes and he started with a Spearow and 3 other benched
Pokemon.  My Electabuzz quickly killed his Spearow but then he brought out a
Rhyhorn and removed both my energies from Electabuzz.  He used Leer a lot but
could but could not get a Horn Attack off due to an Energy Removal and 3
Super Energy Removals of mine.  While stalling, I got 2 Scythers, a Magmar,
and an Electabuzz pumped up.  Finally, either I used a Scoop Up on my
energy-less Electabuzz or he finally got energy to Horn Attack it to death.
I brought out a Scyther, Plus Powered, and knocked Rhyhorn out.  He drew
before he brought out a Pokemon and the judge told him that he has to bring
someone out first but let it slide.  He brought out a Raticate, which I
quickly knocked out and he forgot to bring out a Pokemon first again.  He
brought out another Raticate, I destroyed it, and he forgot to bring out a
Pokemon first again.  Then he brought out a Machop and my Hitmonchan finished
it off.
(5-0)

I WIN!!!

Since me and my Semi-Final opponent decided on splitting the prizes 8 packs
and 6 packs, I picked up my 12 packs and gave him 4.  I got 3 1st Edition
Fossil, 2 Unlimited Fossil, 2 Jungle, and 1 Base Set boosters.  My rares were:

1st Edition Holo-Foil Fossil Magneton
1st Edition Fossil Magneton
1st Edition Fossil Haunter
Holo-Foil Fossil Zapdos
Kabutops
Holo-Foil Jungle Electrode
Wigglytuff
Mewtwo
