I sent in a killer deck a few weeks back, and I have recieved much criticizm
about it. Here is my newly modified deck, Psy-Fi:
4 Charmander
3 Charmeleon
2 Charizard
2 Magmar
2 Moltres
3 Gastly (Fossil)
2 Haunter
2 Gengar
1 Jynx
1 Mr. Mime
14 Fire Energy
10 Psychic Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
2 Energy Search
2 Pokedex
3 Bill
2 Gust of Wind
1 Switch

I played an informal tournament against four other players. Best record wins.

Round 1 (against opponent 1): I got out Jynx and Magmar very early, using
them to take out a couple of my opponents pokemon. Then, a quick Gengar got
the job done. Record, 1-0

Round 2 (against opponent 2): I played an experienced haymaker deck, which
gave me a lot of trouble. I sent out Mr. Mime to stall while I built up
Moltres and Magmar. He send out a Scyther, and used Gust of Wind to bring out
my unprepared Magmar. A double colorless and grass energy later, and Magmar
was gone. I sent out Moltres, who had one fire energy on him, and started
building up a Charmander in hopes of getting Charmeleon and Charizard. I got
a Charmeleon, and Pokedexed and Billed for a Double Colorless Energy. This
let me take out the annoying Scyther, and get Charizard as my prize. I sent
out Charmeleon, and evolved him to Charizard. He swords danced, hoping to
kill me before I could power up. I got a second double colorless energy,
switched to Mr. Mime, and began building up Charizard. His second Scyther
eventually killed Mr. Mime, but Charizard had enough energy on him to kill
Scyther, an Electabuzz and a Hitmonchan. He had no basics, so I won. Record,
2-0.

Round 3 (against opponent 3): This guy had a cool deck. He had 8 Chanseys,
and a lot of trainers that make you pick cards. He Mulliganed 17 times in a
row. Then, he got out a Chansey and had one on his bench. He kept making me
draw cards, and by the fifth turn, I had no cards left. Record, 2-1, tied for
first.

Round 4 (against opponent 4): I played an inexperienced guy who only had 7
basics in his whole deck. My Magmar made short work of his Scyther, and he
had no basics, so I won. Record, 3-1 first place.

Final standings:
Me 3-1
Opponent 2: 3-1 (but I held the tie-breaker)
Opponent 3: 2-2
Opponent 1: 1-3
Opponent 4: 1-3

any comments or trades, and really need a Blastoise, Venasaur, or most
importantly, another Charizard.
