Hey this is Matt Pfeiffer, creator of the Scythabuzz deck. Even
though that was good i have perfected it. Since my last report I have been to
four tournaments including this one. It (and the past ones were held a
Manchester mall) in Fresno, California. only 57 people showed up for this one
unlike the previous one that topped 140. Winning all tournaments I've been to
i felt ready for this one. First the deck then the report:

My new deck (Matts)

Hitmonchan-4
Electabuzz-4
Scyther-2
Ditto-2 (I think he's good)

Fighting energy-12
Electric energy-9
Double Colorless-4

Energy Removal-4
Super Energy removal-4
Bill-4
PlusPower-4
G.O.W.-2
Potion-2
Prof. Oak-3 (The best card in pokemon)

Now for the report:
First I played a small kid with a mono fire deck. It boasted new fossil
magmars and aerodactyls. It was a quick and easy match, for me Hitmonchan,
for him charmander. I go first 20 his turn, scratch 10, energy removal. Put
down fighting energy and wishing to get this game over with I oaked, got a
PlusPower and won. Good game: OUTCOME I WIN
Second, was another quick and easy match won by chan. Out goes chan, out
goes mysterious fossil. No benched so one hit dead I win good game: OUTCOME I
WIN.
Third, I played a 8 year old that threw scythers and bulbasaurs around
like toys. i started with sycther, him bulbasaur. In two turns I did slash
and removed his bulbasaur, putting out scyther he scooped up his bulbasaur,
brought out scyther. damaged it and retreated for another scyther this went
on until he had out four scythers with 30 damage each. By this time I had out
a fully powered buzz who thuderpunched his way to victory by prizes. OUTCOME:
I WIN
Now in the finals I had to play a kid with the exact deck as i had.
Last tournament he had asked me to write my deck down on a sheet of paper so
i did, so he must of copied it exactly, except for ditto that was the only
difference, and the pokemon that killed him. Man I started out with a
terrible hand 2 chan 4 fighting energy and a gust. He laid out scyther, then
another on his bench. Boy I was screwed. I drew a bill and used it but what
did I get, two more chan. By this time I had a feeling I was going to lose.
After four more turns sacrificing two of my chans I got another bill, I drew
a buzz and Prof. Oak. Yes I was saved this is when I turned the game around.
I put down buzz used oak and got energy and removals, yes. Retreated chan and
after five turns killed both of his scythers, yes. A chan comes out, noooo.
Luckily I had scyther as backup, fully powered. He drew a prize for killing
buzz, but i gained two more for killing chans. We both had two to go, he took
down my scyther with Farfetch'd. Then I took down him with buzz. One prize
left for the both of us, very tense. We both had out hurt buzzes with nothing
on the bench. he oaked and got two plus powers, but had no cards left. It
came down to a coin flip, heads he wins, tails he loses. The coin went up and
back down, tails oh yeah. The best game I had had in a long time.
For a spot in the championship match I had to play a fat girl with a
mono psychic, I only had chan so i was in trouble. She goes first with jynx,
does 40 to me but I draw a card, yes its ditto. Ditto goes down with a energy
I give chan a energy next turn and jab for twenty. Jynx kills chan, but out
comes ditto, slap a D.C. down Meditate and Jynx is dead. No more benched I
win.
My friend and me both made it to the championship match, but unwilling
to play each other, we split the prizes down the center for first and second
place. Though the prizes were meager all I got was a raichu(not fossil), 2
scoop up, Chansey, Machamp, and a pack which i got pokemon trader in.
