Well here we go again another good old week at Deja Vu Games, I didn't feel like going this week, but I decided to go anywise with my good friend Alex K.,  having almost complete confidence that I would win once again.  My cousin Lenny decided to go this week so I lent him my Farmonbuzz deck, now that's a deck you haven't heard in a while, it used to be my favourite deck, but now Potpourri is.  I arrived about and hour early and play a couple of matches against Lenny and Alex.  Once again I used Potpourri, I was really hoping for Fossil to come out so that I can fiddle with some deck changes, but none of the shops around here will have any Fossil until the end of next week :(

Now for what happened @ the tournament, there were 7 rounds in total this time and 20 Min. a piece, it really should be 25 Min. now, but I'm guessing Deja Vu Staff haven't checked out the new DCI Pokemon Tournament rules yet.

Round 1-VS Kathleen N. with Grass/Fire
She almost got me early with here Ponyta against my Mr. Mime, but a E.R. stalled just long enough for me to Oak, I got Electabuzz and Scyther from the Oak, and Electabuzz Thunderpunched to victory, she only had 3 Basics.

Round 2-VS ??? ?. with Grass/Water
I started with Kangaskhan and a Ponyta, him a few weakling water basics, I fetched until Kangaskhan was dead then I sent out my new arsenal of Pokemon, this match was kinda of a blur to since some players beside me were stealing the dice we were using to roll, very annoying they were!  Well he couldn't handle what I had to dish out, Electabuzz and Scyther ripped through this deck clean, I was the butcher you could say and my opponent a piece of beef.
Record: 2-0

Round 3-VS Greg S. with a Mono/Fire
His fire Pokemon couldn't take my early Hitmonchan rushes and by the end my Mr. Mime prevailed against a bunch of Magmars and Charmeleons, not only that but my E.R. and S.E.R. were holding him at least a mile back.  I eventually clear the board away in little trouble, funny thing throughout the match was that he was waiting for a G.O.W. to gust and kill me Scythers, when the match was over He realized that there are no G.O.W. is his deck :) LoL
Record: 3-0

Round 4-VS "The boy formally known as Bogart" with Fire/Water
Don't even ask me about his name, everyone was calling him this even the Judges and himself so I call him "The boy formally known as Bogart" too :) LoL.  Fairly easy match, I needed Kangaskhan to do some Fetching for a bit when I ran into some energy problems, but his deck was no match against mine, he played as hard as he could but by the end, It was me once again me standing victoriously, *Ryan standing amongst a field of injured trainers and Pokemon*

Round 5-VS Alex K. with Fighting/Grass
Should be a tough match...My arch rival is up against me, both are undefeated up to this point, we are both E.R. and S.E.R. at the start of the game, but when his E.R. spree starts to fad, and mine is still continuing I'm able to grab a quick 2 prizes, he in return gets 1.  The rest of the game is basically sided to me, getting the right cards at the right time.  I play fast and hard, getting another 3 prizes quickly, mostly with matching up the weaknesses his Jigglypuffs couldn't take my Special Punch and his Scythers and Pinsirs were getting nothing but fighting energy.  I get my last prizes with Ponyta finishing off his Scyther.

Round 6-VS Troy with Potpourri

This guy has been following my every move, first copying my original Farmonbuzz and then Potpourri, good thing Potpourri is one of the hardest decks out there to play with...3 colors is pretty hard to play with.  We start off and I get a quick lead in prizes right way clearing away his Electabuzz's with my Hitmonchan, right away I can tell that he doesn't play with very many energy removals but plays with a lot of Potions and Super Potions.  My quick start lead to his despair as his Pokemon were falling faster then leaves from a tree.  He tried on countless occasions to stall my Hitmonchan with his Scyther, but I was able to get G.O.W. every time to finish off a near dead Electabuzz of Hitmonchan.

Round 7-VS Lenny T. with Haymaker

This is my cousin using my Farmonbuzz deck, this deck is good, but only with a good player, unfortunately Lenny is not a good play, but still he is pretty good for his age (7).  I finish him off easily, but his Energy Removals annoyed the heck out of me since it plays with 4/4 and a couple of Item Finders.  Nevertheless, I was the better player of the two and used my experience to win the match.

Yah! I went undefeated again!  That should boost my DCI ranking, once they update it I'll tell you my latest ranking.  I got two Base Set Boosters and one 1st Edt. Jungle, the rares I got were Blastoise, Clefairy and Nidoqueen.  Not to bad! :)  Alex came in 2nd, and my cousin came in 5th.

Now its time for this weeks PROPS and SLOPS!
PROPS to Lenny for coming in 5th.
PROPS to Alex K. for coming in 2nd, only once has he beaten my in a tournament :)
PROPS to Lipton's Brisk Ice Tea for keeping me energized during the tournament.
SLOPS to Joe J. Derro and John Halji (Employees at Deja Vu) for pretending I won a pack of candy for 1st place.

Well that's it!  Next weak I'm hoping Fossil will come out so I can make some new decks!  Cya!
