Hi Pojo, This is an excellent website. Its the best Pokemon Website on the
Internet.

Anyway I found a deck I've been tweaking does well in tourneys around New
York City, this particular tourny took place on the 23th and i got in second
my name is Robert Katsnelson. I got in Second in a Single Elimination
Tourney, Boohoo o-well. Heres the deck and what happened in the tourney. But
first the strategy is as followed, its mainly an expulsion deck. You are
asking a what. Well I'll tell you. It's fire. Yes, Fire. Your like is he
crazy, fire sucks, Just here me out. When I use the expression expulsion I
mean Gust Of Wind, Lure, Whirlwind, and etc. So here's the deck.

And Now the Actual Tourney:

It Goes as Following:

Round 1: Me Vs. A Little Charizard worshiper named Brett

OK he wasn't that easy. He had a firespin deck. Heres how it began.  He got
a good hand, but I got a better. I got a 2 Magmar and a Vulpix a energy
retrieval and 3 Fire. To make this short he put out a charmander and I put
magmar. His coin flips werent lucky either, and in 3 turns I had my first
prize and 2 damage on my magmar.(He pulled a fighting energy??) After that I
murdered him I got a ninetails and Pidgeotto. They were rippin up his deck
with built in gust of wind. Then he got..............Charizard, Dudududah.
Not. I used Gust Of Wind and Ninetails Killed him in two turns. Then I was
down to one prize. But he had wasted all his dumb fire energy on his measly
charmanders and couldnt get energy. By the way his Charizard killed pidgeot
:( But to summarize Fossil Magmar finished of all those pesky Growlithes
easily.

I Am now at 1-0 in the Tourny.

Me Vs. Jane with A  Mono Grass Deck

This was to easy. I've never seen a grass deck lose in 10 turns, nore have I
ever won in ten turns, but every turn Magmar burned those weaklings, then I
got ninetails and nothing she had could stop me, Although Nidoking put up an
impressive fight my sheer power of 80 attack she couldant handle, in short I
killed these Pokemon in order. Bulbasuar, Tangela, Tangela.  Then she finnaly
ko'ed Magmar and out came Ninetails. Powered up with 6 Energy. Apparently
she's never heard of Expulsion. Pidgey and company didnt play a role in this
battler Ninetails Killed these Pokemon in order, Grimer, Koffing and,
Nidoking. After Nidoking I drew my 6th prize and won.

I am now at 2-0

Me Vs. Spoiled brat with a Charizard, Blastiose, Venasaur and Zapdos deck

Arghh, this guy had an Illeagel deck. The morons boasting, watch my 5
Charizard kick your butt. Im like 5...... I went to the Gym leader and told
him this. He went to the kid and looked at his deck, 69 card deck and 5
Charizards in it, yes, I got a bye. O Well, I was looking foward to kicking
his butt. So I went and played Pokemon Snap until they found me a opponent
for the 4th round and  final round.

Me Vs. A very smart Pokemon fan named John that had A Haymaker

Well I was luck enough in my first few rounds to get decks that werent part
of the big 3, but this one was. It was  close, but he killed me with his
Haymaker eventually. The battle started like this. He got Hitmonchan out, and
I got the hand of Pidgey, Pidgeotto, a double colorless, magmar, 2 fire
enrgy, and a gust of wind. I played pidgey. He has resistance :) The guy had
trouble hurting my Pidgey and placed a magmar on the bench. Eventually
pideotto killed hitmonchan. Then he sent Magmar. With only 1 energy attached
to it. He did smokescreen and now I had 30 damage. I used wirlwind and did 20
damage. He went and place Electabuzz on his bench. My turn. I finnally got a
vulpix to put that Ninetails that I was saving on. So currently the game is
like this. He is using Fossil Magmar and I'm using Pidgeotto He has an
Electabuzz on the bench and I have Vulpix on my bench. We each have drawn 1
prize. I have ninetails in my hand and bill plus 4 fire energy.
Its my turn. I just placed Vulpix so I cant evolve him, but I attach an
energy to him. I do 20 to magmar using mirror move. But he is not poisened.
It his turn. He scoops up magmar and pulls out a Electabuzz which ko's poor
Pidgeotto. My turn. I draw a card and get a fire enrgy, then I bill get a
double colorless. Then I place ninetails and attach an energy to it. I use
lure and pull out that no energy Magmar sitting on the bench. (It turns out
he had wasted all his fire enegy on scyther and Magmar before.) So he, to my
great surprise does not retreat it and concentrates on building up
hitmonchan, tsk tsk tsk. My turn. With my great pleasure I attach an energy
to Ninetails and Ko his magmar. I draw my second prize. His turn. He uses
Electabuzz and does 30 and 10 to himself. I get a bill. I bill for an energy
retreival and a double colorless. I attch an energy and ko electabuzz. He
uses Hitmonchan a defender and does 40. I try to ko it but do 60. He finishs
off Ninetails. I have no Pokemon to use so he is the tournament winner :( :(

O well. My deck did better than most fire.... decks. Im trying to tweak it so
it can overcome Haymakers. Of course If I ever meet Haymaker Im dead. If you
have any tips on how to improve this deck send them to:
