Hello again Pojo,
I'm writing this letter in a really happy. The reason is because I won
the tournament this week at the Collectors Guild in M***field, Massachusetts.
The tournament was on December 4th (sorry for taking so long to get my deck
report in, i wanted it to be the best ever!) and although only 4 people
participated. The game lasted 4 hours!! We played long after the store
closed!! The tournament is double elemination. You might also be wondering
why I'm calling this deck Thundershock Renovations. That is because in my
November reports I had Thundershock Triumph and Thundershock Triumph V2 and
in this new deck I added and removed some cads such as Chansey, a PlusPower,
etc. I'll try to briefly summerize this report because if not I could write
about it for 4 hours.
Itinerary: First my pokémon, trainers, and energies. Then my report, and then
finally my tips on how to make this deck even better and its strenghts and
weaknesses.

Pokémon:
Zapdos (Fossil)
Eevee
Dodrio (mainly for the sake of Retreat Aid)
Jolteon
Electrode (Base Set, I removed the Jungle one)
Wigglytuff (Do The Wave is great as you'll soon find out. . .)
Zapdos (Base Set)
2 Voltorb's
Clefairy (I put him in instead of Chansey)
Doduo
Clefable
Ditto
Tauros (He's actually quite good)
3 Lickitung's (Great against Mr. Mime Stall Decks)
Farfetch'd
Pidgey
Pidgeotto
Pidgeot (I only got him out once during the tourney)
Jigglypuff (Again, great against Mr. Mime's)
Snorlax (I thought about removing him but he's good)
Kangaskhan (Comet Punch is awesome)
Electabuzz (One energy attack to paralyze!)

Trainers:
Scoop Up (Great for when you have 80 damage on a Lickitung or Kangaskhan,
possibly the best trainer!)
Energy Removal
2 Bill's
Imposter Proffesor Oak (Helps people deck themselves. . .)
Gambler
Pokédex
Potion
Switch (Mainly for Snorlax, Lickitung, and Kangaskhan)
Gust of Wind
Energy Removal

Energies:
23 Electric Energies
1 Double Colorless

TOTAL: 60 Cards

Round 1: Me vs. Alex with Psychic deck.
Alex has been the reigning champion of the store for almost a month now.
He's really good and he and I have gotten to be friends through the
tourney's. His deck has 3 fossil Gastly's, 3 Haunter's and 3 Gengar's. He
also has the promo Mewtwo and a few Mr. Mime's to round it out. All in all, a
pretty good deck. Here's the results of my match's with him.

    Round 1
I start with a Lickitung, a Clefairy, a Jolteon, and the rest energies in
my hand. I send out Lickitung and he sends out Mr. Mime. He wins the coin
toss (like always) and attaches an energy. I put an energy on Lickitung and
use Tounge Wrap for no paralyzation. He puts an energy on his benched Gastly.
I use Tounge Wrap and paralyze. He evolves his Gastly into Haunter and outs
Drowzee on his bench. I use a Bill and get Clefable and Imposter Proffesor
Oak. He only has one card in his hand so I use Imposter Prof. Oak. I also
evolve Clefairy into Clefable and attack for another paralyzation. After he
attaches an energy to Drowzee and puts a Lickitung on his bench I faint his
Mr. Mime. He sends out Haunter and uses Nightmare. I flip but I'm stil
sleeping. I flip again to no avail. He is loading a Snorlax on his bench at
this time. I flip and awaken and use Tounge Wrap for the paralyzation except
he flips for Transparency and it doesn't do anything. He uses Nightmare again
and I told him this battle would go on forever if he didn't just kill me. I
flip but nothing. The coin hates me (j/k). He evolves Haunter into Gengar and
uses Dark Mind which hurts me nothing. He puts the other damage on my Tauros.
I flip and wake up and use Tounge Wrap. I paralyze him. After his turn I send
out Clefable and use Metronome Dark Mind. I put the damage on his benched
Hypno (stupid of me, huh?) he uses Dark Mind on me, hurts me nothing, and I
have a fully loaded Fossil Zapdos on my bench along with Tauros, Lickitung,
regular Zapdos, and Electabuzz. Just for time sake I take out enough with my
Clefable to get down to 2 prize cards left while he has 3 and I retreat
Clefable. I sent out Tauros against his Snorlax and his Snorlax paralyzes me
and does the 30 damage. He takes out Tauros (sacrifice) so I can put
Jigglypuff on my bench. I sent out Fossil Zapdos and use Thunderstorm. Since
he has 5 benched I flipped for all of them. I ended up doing 30 damage to
myself. He uses Body Slam but no paralyze. I use Thunderstorm again and get
rid of his Snorlax and his benched Drowzee for the win.

RECORD: 1-0

After the battle I watched the other battles and talked to Charlie, the
storeowner for a while, I got stamped and everything for the Pokémon League
and by the end of the day I had 320 points towards my Boulder Badge.

STANDINGS SO FAR:      Me:  1-0
                           Alex: 0-1
                             Julie: 0-1
                                       Robert: 1-0

This round I had to play my sister Julie. Read on to see this round. . .

Round 2 vs. Julie with Ground/Psychic

I took really good notes this match because Julie is easy to beat (no
offense). I start off with Kangaskhan Snorlax, Energy Removal, Scoop Up and 3
energies. I lost the coin toss and I sent out Kangaskhan vs. her Hitmonchan.
She attaches an energy and Jabs for 40 while putting an Onix on her bench. I
put an enrgy on Snorlax and let her go, because I couldn't do anything. She
jabs for 40 again I put Fossil Zapdos on my bench and attach an energy to
Zapdos. She jabs for the kill and I send out Zapdos. I attach an energy to
Zapdos again. She can do nothing because of resistance. I attach an energy.
She does nothing. I put Ditto on my bench and attach an enrgy and use
Thunderstorm. I flip for her bench which consists of Ditto, Onix, and Fossil
Haunter. I flip for Ditto, heads. I flip for Onix, tails. I flip for Haunter,
heads. She flips for Transparency and gets Tails. The next turn I knock out
Hitmonchan. Get Imposter Professor Oak as my prize. Flip for Ditto, tails.
Flip for Onix, heads. Haunter, heads. Transparency tail and her new benched
Hitmonchan heads. She sends out Haunter and uses Nightmare for 10. I flip and
I'm awake. I use Thudnerstorm and kill off Haunter because Transparency
failed again. My Prize: An energy. Ditto, tails, Onix, tails, Hitmonchan,
tails and her new Geodude, heads. She sent out Ditto, no energies, evolves
Geodude to Graveler and it's my turn. I draw Pokédex. Put an energy on
Snorlax. Use Thudnerstorm. Onix, Tails, Graveler, Tails, Hitmonchan, Tails. I
kill myself because of all the damage I did to myself. I send out Snorlax and
do nothing because I only have 3 energies on him. Julie puts a Sandshrew on
her bench. I attach an energy and use Body Slam. Ditto's gone from all the
previous damage. My prize is another energy. She sent out Onix. She also
evolved Sandshrew to Sandslash and used Rock Throw for 20. I body slam for no
paralyze. She uses Rock Throw again for 20 and I draw a Wigglytuff. I put an
energy on my Ditto. I body slam for no Paralyze. She uses Rock Throw again
for 20. I Body Slam for the kill. My Prize: An Electabuzz. She sent out
Graveler. I put Electabuzz on my bench. Put an energy on him. Body Slam for
the paralyze and it's all over. I Body Slam for the win.

RECORD: 2-0

Julie was out of the tourney. I watched the remainder of the Alex-Robert
match and watch Alex barely win. I had to play him again next round. . .

Round 3
I start out with Lickitung vs. his Promo Mewtwo I win the toss and I
attach an energy and use Tounge Wrap (no paralyze) while having Jigglypuff
and Basic Zapdos on my bench. He attaches an energy and uses Energy
Absorbtion. I put an energy on JIgglypuff. I use Tounge Wrap again and
paralyze Mewtwo (yay!) He puts an energy on his benched Gengar (pokémon
breeder). I have no energies left but use Tougne Wrap again for the paralyze.
He puts a Mr. Mine on his bench and I use Tougne Wrap again, no paralyze. He
uses Psyburn for 10 and I draw an Electabuzz and put him on my bench. Tounge
Wrap again. . .(getting bored?) again after his turn what attack do I use?
Tounge Wrap. for the paralyze and after Alex goes again I use Tougne Wrap for
the kill. My prize is a Wigglytuff. He sends out Gengar (2 energies) and lets
me go. I evolve Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff. Draw and get Bill. I use Bill and
get Switch and an energy. I use Switch and switch LIckitung with Wigglytuff
and use Lullaby. Gengar's asleep. He flips. . .Still sleeping, he flips
again. . . Still sleeping. I draw a Double Colorless!! I put the Double
Colorless on Wigglytuff and use Do The Wave for 40 Hit Points. He flips. .
.Still sleeping, he flips again. . .Still sleeping. He cusses the coin
(seriously, lol) and I use Do The Wave again for the kill. My prize is an
energy. He sends out Mr. Mime, uh oh, and uses Meditate. Unfortunately I have
Resistance. I put an energy on Zapdos and retreat Wigglytuff and send good
ol' Lickitung back out. I use Tounge Wrap for the paralyze. After he draws I
use Tounge Wrap again for the paralyze and eventually take out Mr. Mime.
Right now he has three Gengar's on his bench. Two are loaded. He sends out
Gengar and uses Dark Mind and hurts my benched Clefairy (who I just put down)
10. I use Tounge Wrap no paralyze. He uses Dark Mind again and hurts
Clefairy. Let's speed it up a little (mainly cuz i didn't take notes at this
part) He takes out Clefairy and Lickitung (with Snorlax) and we're tied at 3
prize cards each. I send out my loaded Basic Zapdos vs. his Snorlax (which is
down to 70) I use Thunder flip and hurt myself 30. He uses Body Slam for no
paralyze. I use Thunder again and take out his Snorlax. He looks like he's
decking himself. He only has about 8 cards left and only has 1 in his hand.
My prize: An Imposter Proffesor Oak. He sends out a loaded Hypno and uses
Dark Mind for the kill. I send out Wigglytuff again. Use Imposter Professor
Oak and he's only 3 turns away from decking himself. I let him go three times
and he decked himself so I won.

Championship vs. Robert with Water
There's only one word i can say about Robert - Cheater, cheater, cheater,
cheater!!! He might have cheaten but he had a great deck. Unfortunately for
him, I watch the game closely. Anyhoo, here's our results:

My starting hand was a Voltorb, a Fossil Zapdos, a Scoop Up, a Lickitung
and a handful of energies. I draw on a Mulligan and get my Double Colorless.
He didn't get any basic again but I didn't draw. He finally got a basic, 1
sole basic, hahahaha!!! cheater!!!! It was a Squirtle. Luckily I sent out
Voltorb before I knew it was Squirtle and we flipped our bench, which he
didn't have, and we flipped our active. Squirtle vs. Voltorb. I called heads
and it was heads (that's a first for me). I attached an energy to Voltorb and
Tackled for 20. He put an energy on Squirtle, Gust Of Winded Voltorb out for
Lickitung. Now, watch this genius move, j/k. I Scooped Up Lickitung, sent out
Voltorb and Tackled for the win. Serves him right.

I won $14 store credit and got a psack of Basic cuz I don't need anymore
fossil. I was hoping to get another Electabuzz. I only have one. The rare I
got was a Super Energy Removal. That's okay I guess. Oh yeah, to catch
everyone up to date. I won this week also, the week of the 19th. I just
haven't had time to right a KD report. The reason this took so long was
because I'm trying to make this the best Killer Deck report ever!!!!!!!! It
probably isn't but hey, at least I tried. Now it's time for this weeks props
ans slops:

Props:
Props to my father, he lent me some money cuz I didn't have enough to get in
Props to Robert for using his Water deck. Hey, cheater! Electric is good
against water.

Slops:
Slops to Robert for cheating.
That's mainly it.

Here's what this deck is good against:

<Table Border="1">
<TR>
<TD>Mr. Mime Stall Decks
<TD>It's great against Mr. Mime decks because you always have Lickitung and
Voltorb if you need them. Almost everyone has resistence to Psychic
<TR>
<TD>Water Decks
<TD>Great against water because of Weakness
<TR>
<TD>Ground/Fighting Decks
<TD>It's okay against Ground/Fighting because you have Zapdos, Dodrio,
Pigeot, etc. who all have resistence. If you get cocky, send out Electabuzz
and Thunderpunch them to death.
<TR>
<TD>Fire Decks
<TD>Fire is evenly matched. If the kid relies on his Charizard, make sure to
either Paralyze it with Lickitung, use Energy Removals, and maybe get Base
Set Zapdos out there to do the trick.
<TR>
<TD>Aerodactyl Decks
<TD>If your opponent relies on Aerodactyl to help him out, use Lickitung,
Electabuzz, Zapdos, etc. This deck has lots of basic and you'll always do
good against Aerodactyl decks.
<TR>
<TD>Muk Decks
<TD>I don't have a problem with Muk decks, just don't use Snorlax and if you
have Dodrio out it can really throw you off but all in all it's okay
<TR>
<TD>Other Electric Decks
<TD>The only problem is all your Flying Pokémon, Just use everyone besides
them and you'll be fine
<TR>
<TD>Grass Decks
<TD>Grass decks are evenly matched, there's no weakness or resistence
involved so just have fun
<TR>

That;s mainly it, if you want to throw in another Electabuzz or a Porygon or
something feel free. If you use this deck make sure you give me credit!!!
