This weekend I played at Golden Glove in
Bakersfield, California. Between 15-20 ppl particapated in this store
tourney. This tournement was best 2 outta 3 and double
elimination. This is my deck in a nut shell:

Round 1 *ding ding*
Phantom Pain vs. Raindance turbo w/ articunos
& lapras
Ok, I played againist a 5 yr old. named Steven. I
was really surprised when I went againist him. My deck always lost to him at
league.
Game 1: Drew Chansey and Mime. I go first, he
sends out articuno *whew*. A was saved, but not for long!
Steven drew a squirtle and placed a
breeder+blastoise second round and got lotsa Lapras. He keeps on raindancing
and playing Oak's throughout the game, I keep stalling with Chanseys, Mimes,
and Pokemon centers. Lil' guy decks himself.
Game 2: drew Abra and Mime. Ugh, bunches of
trainers, it doesn't look good! He draws a squrtle, he goes first once again.
bubles im paralized. Uh oh. He gets a lapras and breeders. I whip out some
Gengars and it starts to clear up, he once again decks himself with Prof.
Oaks. The lil' guy has never lost a game in the first round and he started
crying, I felt bad the rest of the day. :(*

Round 2
Phantom Pain vs. Raindance Turbo
Played againist my friend Renee. I won againist
him earlier in the day so I had a lot of confidence againist his deck. Game 1:
He draws 3 squrtles (he have only 4 basics, and guess what they are). I draw
Mr. Mime plus a pkmn center and energys. He goes first (I never get to go
first :P) bubbles I'm paralized. I draw a chansey, he breeders 2 and kills of
mime in a matter of turns, i get another chansey. He gets the first win. Blah!
Game 2: He doesn't draw any basics. I draw 2
extra. I have a abra, kadabra, and alakazam! woo hoo!! Also, I have a chansey
and mime, i send out the mime to stall. he draws 1 squirtle!! its lookin good!
i meditate. then he breeders ugghhh.... then he rain dances all his
energies... dbl ughhhh... then he uses a prof. oak... i guess my luck doesn't
change, huh? he sends out squritle from the prof. oak and kills my mime.
noooooo. i send out chansey. i keep on scrunching! yea! He uses one to many
oaks and decks himself! hehe!
Game 3: This is for all the cookies. I draw
pratically the same hand as last round. He draws 2 squirtles. Kill the mime.
He just doesn't like my triplets of mimes.... I stall once again with chansey.
He uses a few prof. oaks and gamblers. He also uses a few recycles to get the
Oak's, to make a long story short, he decks himself once again. He's in a
horrible mood the rest of the day.

Phantom Pain vs. Phantom Pain
This is a easier match even though David kept
drawing Kansgaskans first.
Game 1:draw Mime and chansey, i send out chansey
and he goes first. draw, bill, and I get abra and gastly! woo hoo! i have
breeders, gengars, and a alakazam!! Use prof. oak and i keep using curse and
darkmind w/ gengar, i can't get through kangaskan and finally deck myself,
it's a first!
Game 2: he doesn't draw a kansgakan! woo hoo! i
use abra's and gastly's to weed out his basic pkmn until he gets to
kangaskan..... yikes. I whip out my big guns and confuse kansgaskan with
alakazam. i keep cursing him from previous dmg and he kills kangaskan himself!
Game 3: Another match to the line! I draw mr
mime's and 3 bills! haha!! He goes first and takes out 3 Jynx's, fortuanately
for me he has no energys! I meditate 2 Jynx's to death, then he gets a
kangaskan out, not again! I G.O.W out his his out Jynx's and Mimes, and whip
them easily with gastly and mimes. he sends out kangaskan once again. i keep
cursing him once again and i meditate his butt to death!

Phantom Pain vs (F) Magmar Haymaker
Ok, I beat this kid (Aaron) last week and he went
on to win the championships. That gave me Pokemon bloodlust :P.
Game 1: I draw mime. He draws Electabuzz and
Magmar, sends out magmar. He smogs me then smokescreens, I couldn't avoid
death. whoops, i got to be politcally pokemon correct, i coundn't avoid
"knock-out".
Game 2: I draw fossil gastly and i keep on
paralyizing his electabuzz, he then plays scoop-up. im really starting to hate
those cards..... he plays magmar, i draw a chansey. he KO's gastly. i send out
chansey, he once again send out electabuzz and the game is over.

Phantom Pain vs. Phantom Pain
Not again! uggghhhh.... I really need a new
name....
Game 1: Gosh, not another kid that plays Jynx's,
this is to easy. I draw mime, abra, and gastly. I win coin toss, send out
mime. He sends out mime too! this might be a little tougheir than i thought...
i knock 20 dmg onto mime. send out a gastly, whip mime into shape! Mean while,
he was buildin up a kadabra! i start to build up my kadabra and i send out a
mime, then i get a alakazam. he then gets 2 kangaskans (do kids think this
card is better than a chansey!?). he then evolves into alakazam and confuses
mime. i then use breeders to pump up some gastlys. he then retreats and send
out kangaskan, i get another mime and send him out, this kid keeps doing comet
punch but always gets 2 heads, haha! he doesn't realize it but he has 2 dmg
counters on alakzama, so i GOW out alakazam and kill him! YES! no more dmg
swap, he sends out kangaskan once again but i curse and meditate him to death,
all he has left is jynx's and i kill him.
Game 2: I once again I get a mime (I guess i have
a mime detection system...) all he has is jynx's. I kill his jynx's to secure
the win.

Phantom Pain vs. Phantom Pain
I played David once again.
Game 1: Draw abras and gastly, all he has is a
mime, i go first and send out gastly. 20 dmg and he is paralized, he draws a
energy. i kill mime. eazy win.
Game 2: he goes first and send out kangaskan. i
get gastly and mime, i send out gastly first to stall. i paralize him for a
few rounds. then i get a breeder and gengar. i start to dmg his bench and
cursing it to kangaskan, send out mime and kill kang. i then start to kill his
other pokemon until he gets a mime, but i kill him with curse :P. i kill his
last abra and win.

Phantom Pain vs. (F) Magmar Haymaker
I play Aaron once again. Old foes come back to
haunt me.
Game 1: He whips out magmar and I get a chansey, I
stall forever with chansey a pokemon ceneters, i whip out mime but he keeps on
using scoop ups he finally kills my chansey and mime. i lose :(
Game 2: i decide to forfit because i couldn't
handle the pain of another loss.;P
