I played a tourney at Wizards
of the Coast in San Diego, CA.
I got to the semi-finals but then I lost. The
object of my deck is
to beatdown your opponent.
Round 1: Me vs. Jonathan with a grass deck
I went first and got a hand
with scyther, jigglypuff, energy removal, bill, hitmonchan,and 4 fighting
energy. He sent out bulbasaur and I sent out jigglypuff and put him to sleep
and pounded him to death. I had jigglypuff out the whole game because I
eventually got aerodactyl out and he couldn't play evolutions, so all he had
was weak grass pokemon with 40 hp.

Round 2: Me vs. a cocky kid named Tim With A
fire/electric deck
He went first and I got a
crappy hand. He sent out pikachu and I sent out magmar. he sparked my magmar
with 3 pluspowers and knocked me out. He went on to beat me with an arcanine.
record 1-1
Round 3: Me vs. Jeff with a fighting deck
He went first and didn't get
any basics for 3 turns. I beat him instantly with scyther because his best was
hitmonchan and it could only do 10 to scyther at the most. I had scyther out
the whole game.

Round 4: Me vs. Jonathan again
This game went a lot
faster and I won again. I started out with mysterious fossil the first turn
and evolved to aero the second. I retreated and sent out magmar and fire
punched my way to victory.

Round 5: Me vs. ? with a four color deck
He went first. He sent out
promo mewtwo and I sent out hitmonchan. He quickly killed my hitmon and kept
alternating between scyther, promo mewtwo, and the three eevee evoulutions. He
beat me when he quick attacked my magmar with his vaporeon.
record 3-2
I got eliminated when I had lost two rounds. I
think I should take out all the machops and add a hitmonlee, and two scythers.
