The Danger Room in Anderson, Indiana held this tournament on December 11.
Exactly 17 people participated. I was going for my third undefeated first
place finish in a row, so you'll see how the rest plays out. :)
EXTINCTION:
12 Fighting Energy
4 Hitmonchan
1 Hitmonlee
10 Psychic Energy
4 Mr. Mime
4 Double Colorless Energy
3 Chansey
2 Kangashkhan
4 Scyther
Trainers:
4 Bill
4 Potion
4 Energy Removal
2 Professor Oak
2 Super Energy Removal

Round One: VS Jenny Delf with Fire/ Psychic
She seemed to get just basics and energy the whole time I played her, and
unfortunately for her she got 2 Dratinis, 2 Drowzee, an Abra, and a
Charmander. I drew Hitmonchan, Scyther, and Kangashkhan. Hitmonchan started
off strong with me with 2 kills against an Abra and a Drowzee, his weakness
too. When he was knocked out, I sent in a charged-up Scyther and Energy
removaled her bench to death while I steadily killed her Dratini, then
retreated it for Kangashkhan after I killed it. From there, it was a roll
because of Comet Punch and Kanga's resistence to her Drowzee and Abra again.
I took out her base-set Magmar after that for the victory.
RECORD: 1-0
Round Two: VS Nobody because I got a bye.
RECORD: 2-0
Round Three: VS Jason with Fighting/Colorless
Well, we started off the game by using 3 Energy Removal/ Super E.R. each on
each other, but I used two Bills and got more energy. I already had two
energy on my Kangashkhan and Hitmonlee, Scyther, and Mime on the bench. I
killed his Hitmonchan and a Jigglypuff with him and by the time he knocked
him out, I sent in a Hitmonlee with 3 Fighting energy on him and he just
totally tore up 3 of his Colorless(Wigglytuff, Jigglypuff, and Chansey) then
beat Hitmonchan for the win.
RECORD:3-0
Round Four: VS Michael Eiler with Psychic
This match was way harder than I expected it to be, with him taking two
prizes on me quickly before i was able to Bill a couple of times and get
Chansey to slow him down because of Resistance. Two Hitmonchan got one kill
apiece despite their weakness to Psychic pokemon, and Mr.mime came in at the
right times with Meditate. Then when I got a prize advantage, i jumped all
over it and Double Edged three times for the last three kills with two
chansey.
RECORD:4-0
Round 5: VS Ryan Delf with Grass
He had me worried for a while because of Poison and Paralysis along with
lucky coin flips, but Potion saved the day(three of em) and two Hitmonchans
got four prizes for me, then Mr. Mime and Scyther mopped up with one apiece.
Energy Removal ROCKS!
RECORD: 5-0
Round 6(Finals) VS Denise(Jason's lover.....gulp) with Fire/Psychic
Chansey Double Edged two Magmar(Fossil) to get them out of the way, then
energy removaled her to death while Hitmonchan took the last four prizes.
Record: 6-0
