Ryu Juini What Are You Doing?

Basically, this card say's "No!" and makes your opponent waste their attack, thus allowing your character to turn around and beat them down insted.

Limit 1 per deck cards are usually good. This one is pretty good. Use it if you need too (Chibi's like it! I should get a copy.) and enjoy it. It's a pretty underrated card at times since it's not as broken (and banned) as Burned.

All in all, stopping an attack, thus wasting your opponents, makes you a bit safer in this game where characters on the battle field are going to matter in long term ordeals. KEEP THEM ALIVE!

What Are You Doing?

This is one of those cards that has a mysterious aura around it.  It wasn’t a HUGE deal when it was first released and wasn’t in everyone’s deck.  However, when someone tried running it in a deck, it stayed as a staple.  I personally believe this happened when Burned was banned and players needed a card to stop an oncoming attack.

WAYD? has a pricey cost to completely stop an oncoming attack.  The only immediate draw is the attacker becomes ready, though that is a mute point if you get in an effective attack. Let’s take another look at this card.  Pay 3 to stop an attack and ready the attacker…can anyone tell me what this card really does?  Essentially, it skips your opponents turn.  At the cost of 3, you get another action phase in a row.  That’s a good card effect in any game.

Now, like any card, timing is key and can really turn things around.  Save your key characters while allowing sub-characters to fall by the wayside.

Rating:

4.5 for large swarm decks

5 for unique character decks
