Subject: Doing the math...

I see this question pop up a lot so I thought I would go ahead and do the math.

There are 8 triple star holo-rares and 16 single holo-rares in the Neo Destiny
set, for a total of 24 holo-rares. The odds of finding ANY holo-rare (triple or
single) are 1 in every 3 packs. If you multiply that out, in theory, you will
get all 24 holo-rares (single and triple) from 72 packs (1*24 in every 3*24
packs). Now that you know the total number of packs it will take to find all
the holo-rares, you simply divide the total number of triple and single stars
from the total number of packs needed. Since you get all 24 (in theory) from
those 72 packs, you can then say that you get all 8 triple star holo-rares from
those 72 packs for the odds of 1 triple star in every 9 packs (8/72). Since you
get all 24 (in theory) from those 72 packs, you can then say that you get all
16 single star holo-rares from those 72 packs for the odds of 2 single stars in
every 9 packs (16/72).

So there you have it
Odds of finding a holo-rare per pack 1:3
Odds of finding a single star holo-rare per pack 2:9
Odds of finding a triple star holo-rare per pack 1:9
