The main strategy behind this deck is just to set up with Cleffa and the trainers and then lay down the Slowkings on the bench while there is a Murkrow active and powered up Rocket's Zapdos on the bench. It worked pretty well at the STS.

PRE-GAME
I came with my friends Team "Chaos" and we were just talking to others and playtesting. I can proudly say that I was the first one to check in the STS! Anyways after that they started calling in the 11-14 age group and so the battles begun.

Round 1-
SlowKrow vs. Ampharos/Blaine's Rapidash
I was pretty nervous until I realized what a great hand I hand. By turn 3, 2 Slowkings were lying ont he bench and I had Locked in his Blaine's Ponyta. The battle was going into my favor until he busts out a Super Energy Removal. I immediately called a judge and evern though I didn't want to win because of default, they gave me the victory.

1-0(3 Points)

Round 2-
SlowKrow vs. Sabrina Deck
I wasn't even expecting Sabrina too show up but this kid wasn't too shabby. It took me a while to get my Slowkings out on time but Rocket's Zapdos was taking care of everything. At one point, He used night spirits and unsuccessfully got all tails. That's when the game turned around. I used Warp Point and I don't know why but he brought out a Sabrina's Gastly(Gaseous Form) and I brought out the Cleffa. I retreated the Cleffa brought out Murkrow and dominated the rest of the way.

2-0(6 Points)

Round 3-
SlowKrow vs. Rocket's Mewtwo
At this point I was very hungry and I knew that the lunch break was after Round 3. Focused on the match, I used my murkrows to tear apart his bench. Until he was able to stop my Murkrow and then kill it off with Rocket's Mewtwo. He then picked off the Slowkings with Double Gust(Which by the way he got 3 straight tails!!! Damn Electroflips!) and he was able to come up with the victory.

2-1(6 Points)

LUNCH BREAK!!
Man the food was expensive. $2.50 for a freaking hotdog. Oh sorry back to the report.

Round 4-
SlowKrow vs. Blaine's Rapidash/Blaine's Ninetales
Knowing that making the Top 8 would be really hard know, I was determined too win. Lucky me I had gotten Murkrow and all he had was a Blaine's Ponyta with Hind Kick. On the second turn he had no actives and i did feint attack with two darks to do 40 plus the 40 before was game.

3-1(9 points)

Round 5-
SlowKrow vs. Josh Goldstein(He would later go on to the final 8)Feraligatr
Before this match I was talking to Master Trainer Mike and he was saying about how many people with byes had lost. Everyone was gunning for Phil Mondiello but he was still unscathed because of his 3 byes. As I was looking through the pairings when I realized I would be going up against him. Knowing that passing this game would boost me up and give me a very good chance of being at least in the top 16, I was determined to put him to rest. However, I didn't pick off his Totodiles and while Murkrow was doing pretty good, he just dominated when he Double Gusted the Slowkings and used Riptide. That was the end of me and I knew that I probably wouldn't make it to the top 8 so I was just playing for fun.

3-2(9 Points)

At this point, I was trying to find my fellow teammates to see how they were doing. Mostly 4-1 and 3-2. We weren't doing that great. Team Conneticut was doing great from what I head by General Surge(WizPog).

Round 6-
Slowking vs. Free Retreat
I had this game in the palm of my hand and I was up 3 prizes to none. I had 3 Slowkings and a Murkrow and Rocket's Zapdos just the way I wanted with Cleffa taking up benchspace. Then he was lucky in passing the Slowkign barrier with Magby and since I could never get heads to Mean Look the baby in there, he used Brock's Mankey taunt and brought out the Slowking. He used Murkrow to lock him in place and tore my bench apart. I was ashamed that I lost in such a manner and I wasn't expecting that kind of massacre.

3-3(9 Points)

Round 7-
SlowKrow vs. Rocket's Mewtwo/Steelix
My first Steelix deck even though I never saw one. This match was too quick as all he started off with was Onix and then he eventually played down a Mewtwo with no energies. That was game and I knew I was just playing for pride now but I wanted to go 6-3 at least.

4-3(12 Points)

Round 8-
SlowKrow vs. Cool Porygon
Yes you heard me correctly. Cool Porygon. I was stuck battling a kid who obviously was just riding a wave of luck. Even though he got many heads with 3-D attack(Damn Electroflip!!!) he never had control of the game at any point and he just quit because there was nothing else for him to do.

5-3(15 Points)

I took a break from the stress and I visited the Open Gym for some fun. I whipped butt there and managed to get at least 3 free boosters. I was talking to my fellow Team Chaos members and the leading records were 5-3, 5-3, 6-2, 5-3. We weren't exactly doing great.

Round 9-
SlowKrow vs. My fellow Team Chaos member Juan Rosales(Blaine's Rapidash/Murkrow)
I couldn't believe that we were facing each other in the final round. As we began we were both 5-3 so we knew this game meant alot. He didn't get anything rolling and I was getting ready to do 50 damage to his Blaine's Dodou with a dark before he forfeited because he wanted to get the "boosters right away". I had took control of the game once the Slowkings came out and that was the end of it.

6-3(18 Points)

It wasn't good enough to make it to the top 8 obviously and I had a final rank of 104. I was the best Team Chaos member and i really had a great time.
