First of all, thank you Pojo for posting the letter. Phil has a right to be heard (though I'm not sure who really wants to listen to him). Secondly, before I read the letter I assumed it would be about him apologizing for Falsified reports, which would be understandable, but no, Phil has to say stuff like "I figured I deserved the break I'd be getting." I mean come on, nobody should be as stuck-up as to say they should be let off easy. Maybe 4 years was a little extreme, but he assumed his 2233 rating put him above the rules. He thought just because he admitted (noticed I didn't say reimbursed for) his mistake, they would let him off. Well, when he grows up, if you steal or cheat your employer, you'll be fired ASAP. Now I know were not dealing with money, but it's the same principal. You disobeyed the rules and were punished accordingly Phil Mondiello, so I suggest instead of trying to say you were treated unfairly (which you obviously weren't) try saying you're sorry, and even though it may not get your suspension lifted, you might gain back the respect of the Pokemon Community.
