Here is a cool deck, and I give loads of credit to Ditto (Kendle) for having me be in love with this deck for a short period of time.  This deck has major potential, but ended up being a tad slow for my taste.  I played with a version of this deck for over a month!  Here we go!

Pojomeganium45:
I have deck that is based around my favorite Pokemon-Alakazam. I recently sent in a deck that was almost exactly like this one to wizards.com/pokemon, and they did a deck check on a similar, unlimited version with Expedition Alakazam! I was excited, but then I realized that I couldn't use their hints since my deck was made for modified, and I was really hoping you could help me make my deck even better. Thanks!

Comments:
I think I did an o.k. job on building this deck, however, I am worried about how slow my setup may be. My objective is to get both of my Alakazams running with at least one Chansey on the bench so I can heal my main hitter(Expedition Alakazam) and continue to do major damage. I added Clefable in to get out needed energy and the Haunters to protect Chansey and Clefable if I were to run across a fighting deck.

My first comment is you are trying to do too much.  I like the idea of holding off fighting with Gastly, we'll keep that idea, but unless you are going to Gengar, the Haunter is not going to make this cut.  If anything, you need to protect yourself from psychic, and there is only one pokemon which does that effectively, Murkrow.  I am going to add him in.  A nasty little addition to this deck.  We are also going to add in some promo mew, even though they are at risk to pichu.  the giant hitters of this envio, Magcargo, Gatr are all evolved, and you need to protect yourself from them.  If pichu shows up, keep mew in your hand until he is needed.  This is all about focus, adn we will keep in the big egg, for I like your pokenurse idea, and let's face it, if you start with the egg, at least you know you will get a turn to play on turn 2!

Pokemon - 15 basic, 19 total - a bit high, but it should work
2 Alakazam(Expedition B-84-#)
1 Alakazam(Legendary Collection Lv.42)
3 Kadabra(Legendary Collection - even though Neo Revelation Kingdra is not played anymore, if you evolve through this card, and you face a Kingdra, because of its genetic memory attack, you will do 50 for 1 energy with Alakazam!!!)
4 Abra (your choice)
1 Gastly(Legendary Collection)
2 Chansey(Expedition B-48-#)
2 Cleffa (NG)
2 Tyrogue (for your shot at the first turn kill)
2 Promo Mew (poor crobat, poor Gatr, poor magcargo)

Energy(18):
4 Psychic
4 Rainbow a MUST in this Alakazam deck.  do nOT make the mistake of putting a rainbow on promo mew with a tyrogue around, it is painful!!!)
2 Fighting
2 Fire
2 Water
2 Grass
2 Lightning

23 Trainers - Compete re-write so watch out!!!
3 Gold Berry(Neo Genesis)
3 Copycat(Expedition)
3 Pokemon Trader(Legendary)
2 Switch(Expedition)
3 Focus Band (Neo Genesis)
3 Professor Elm(Neo Genesis)
2 Double Gust
1 Energy Stadium
2 Pokemon Nurse
1 Fisherman

See if that works for you!  As you play this deck, the metagame you play in will dictate how much you use the healing, and how much you could switch over to a straight Alakazam attacking deck!  Hope this helped!  Good Luck
