I do use some Japanese. I have translations enclosed. If you need, add Japanese cards, I have big collection of them. The strategy start with Exeggcute if you have Exeggutor. If not use Kangaskhan to fetch (for the Eggs) or Pinsir for a power house. Use Comp. Search and discard grass energy to get DCEs. The two flips for one attachment is better. Use Prohibition Gym to prevent pesky ERs and SERs. The Gambler is only to replenish my deck when I am low on cards. Here is "Big Eggsplosion." |

You've
got the start to a really good deck here; but, there are some problems
with it.
First, I hope you aren't planning on playing this in any DCI sanctioned tournaments or in the Pokèmon League, because it's not a legal deck. Deck Problem #1. Your deck has 61
cards. Solution: Remove 1 Grass energy. Deck Problem #2. Your deck has illegal Japanese cards.* * Japanese cards are not allowed in DCI sanctioned tourneys or in the Pokèmon League unless the card has been released in English. I've seen translations of Prohibition Gym that say "Neither person can lay trainer cards unless they discard two energies." The problem with "unofficial" releases of Japanese translations is that the actual attack may be mistranslated, or WOTC may just choose to have a slightly different version of the attack when they print the cards for the younger American player base. Solution: This is a special problem. It's hard to propose a solution because technically, if you don't plan on using this deck in DCI sanctioned tournaments or in the Pokèmon League, then there's really not a problem. Suggestion #1. Take 2 Grass Energies out of your deck and trade them for 3 Pokèmon Traders. Use Pokèmon Traders to trade in Pokèmon you can't use for Pokèmon you can. Structurally, except for that 61 card problem (which is easily fixed) your deck is fine. Other people might argue with me about this, but essentially you have all the cards you need. You've got 15 Pokèmon, 20 trainers and 25 energies. You've got Bill, Oak, and Gust of wind (though no switches) and you've got a good strategy. Pretty good job. ~TPL |
