STRATEGY: Is this deck worthy of beating a Raindance deck, a good one with a fully powered Blastoise out on second turn with a fully pumped Gyarados in the wings?

POKÈMON (15)

3 Electabuzz
3 Magmar (F)
2 Hitmonchan
1 Hitmonlee
3 Farfetch'd
1 Scyther
1 Kangaskahn
1 Ditto

My first suggestion to you is to decide which Pokèmon you want in your deck and put more than one of them in. If you want Ditto, then take out the H'lee or K'Kahn. If you want the Scyther, then take out the H'lee or the Ditto. You need to have more than just one so that you can be more likely to pull it and play it. Kangaskahn takes an awfully long time to get powered, unless you are lucky to get two DCE within the first two turns; so, even if you have it in there only for the Fetch, just for now take out the Kahn.

Now, since you have 2 Hitmonchan in there, remove the Hitmonlee. I know that he has a good 50 point attack, and a good bench attack, but if you really want to stop the Raindance, H'Lee really isn't the best choice.

Scyther is a good addition to any deck, but since you only have one--remove it for now.

Your trainers look pretty good--I suggest you trade the Scoop up for Mr. Fujis. That way you just shuffle them back into the deck as opposed to discarding them.

The thing that bothers me the most about this deck is how trainer heavy it is. At this point, I don't have any suggestions as to which trainers you should remove. You will simply have to play this deck against many other decks and figure out which ones you can afford to lose.

I don't know about your energies… without playing the deck myself I'm not sure if you come out all right when you play. I don't usually run three color decks, because they're hard to energize, but overall I like your deck.

Make the changes I suggested and let me know how the deck works.
