~~~~~ This part of the story, for whatever reason, was sent in along with the deck. ~~~~~ ~~~~~ It's being posted in the exact form it was received, typos and all. ~~~~~ A figure arives at the door of the shop. The door starts to creek open, the Umbreon's ears twitch with the sound. A shady person in a hooded trenchcoat steps in with a small, bright figure beside him. The Umbreon growls ready to strike, suddenly Bondi from the shadows appears, unsheathing his sai in defence. Suddenly KCtheProfessorOfPoke steps out of the blinding sunset with his Espeon at side. The Espeon growls, taunting the Umbreon. KC quickly pulls out a.... beating stick?!?! Laughing emphatically KC removes his trenchcoat saying, "Sorry for not knocking." As Bondi replys, "?" ~~~~~ Begin the part actually written by Bondi. ~~~~~ With a glance at the clock, Bondi notes the fact that it's ten o' clock in the morning and wonders where the sunset came from. He shrugs, places the latest Pojo magazine that he had been reading onto the counter, and reaches over to flip the lights back on. For no apparent reason, they had been shut off. Now that he can clearly see the person that has walked into his place of business, Bondi raises an eyebrow at the fact that the guest is brandishing a weapon for no apparent reason. "Bah." Umbreon, obviously not impressed with the smaller, purple-shaded Pokémon that is taunting him on his own turf, looks expectantly at the owner of the Bunker. Agreeing with the fuzzy black Pokémon, Bondi presses the small red button on the control panel in front of him. A faint click in the background, unnoticed by the apparently hostile intruders, signals that the defense system has been activated. *SPROING!* A trapdoor opens instantaneously and closes just as quickly, having launched Bondi's elite team of tactical defense weasels. The majority of the weasels latch onto the human assailant, but two of the fearsome rodents land on the Espeon and begin gnawing on various portions of the Pokémon's anatomy. With a small chuckle, Bondi leans back in his chair and watches for a minute, reflecting on the effectiveness of his security system. Once he figures the intruders have had enough to ensure they won't cause any more trouble, Bondi extracts his Weasel-Stick© from the side drawer of the counter. Holding high it above his head, he hits the button labeled "ON" and waits for it to take effect. At first, nothing happens, but with a small jerk the powerful electromagnets contained within the baton-like device kick in. The metallic harnesses that the weasels wear around their torsos are firmly yanked towards the uplifted Weasel-Stick©, taking the creatures with them. *CLANG* The first of the weasels makes contact with the metallic rod, and Bondi notices with some satisfaction that it has a scrap of cloth in its mouth, apparently ripped from the victim's clothing. *CLANG-CLANG-CLANG-CLANG-CLANG* As the rest of the weasels fly backwards and hit the Weasel-Stick©, the two figures in the entrance of the Bunker collapse exhaustedly. Flicking the "OFF" button on the rodent retriever, Bondi slides it back into the drawer, the weasels dropping off as the magnets shut down. Once he has closed the drawer and trapped the weasels inside, Bondi reaches over and presses the small blue button on his control panel. This causes an area of roughly five feet squared to drop out of the floor, taking the uninvited visitors with it and depositing them into the Dumpster out back. "So much for them." Once the floor in front of the entrance returns to its normal position, Bondi spots a sheet of paper lying on it. He stands, then walks over to pick it up. Upon seeing what's written on it, he realizes that the pair had come in for a fix. "Oh well, they could have been a little less rude about it. Let's see what we've got here..." ----- Well I decided to test the great Bondiborg with my Umbreon/Espeon DCI Modified deck called DoubleThreat. 4 eevee 2 umbreon 2 espeon 2 cleffa 2 pichu 2 elekid 2 tyrogue 1 mew 7 psychic 4 dark 3 rainbow 4 elm 4 bill 4 DG 3 trader 3 cat 3 Gberry 3 band 1 Fan club 1 SCharm 1 pokemon tower 1 undersea ruins 1 TV The deck is basic. Get up UMBY as fast as you can unless Espy would be faster, opponet weak to psy, ect. The lone tower is in there for rogue Kingdra which are still common(in my area). Undersea Ruin can help out if you need to switch gears and is useless to most decks that dont run retro nrg. Swarm pichu for Cargo which is the toughest deck to beat with this. CAN, take a scizor down, but with gymbo's S2 unleashed in the format this deck is a little weaker to scizor. Elekid is there to do damage while I'm getting the eons up. I have the overdraw structure that I use to make the deck faster transitioning from deck to deck. Abuse DG is a duh. This deck can beat the crap out of anything that isn't cargo or starmie. I'm sure you can help it a bit. Enjoy!!! KC The Ghetto Jedi ----- I used to run Espy/Umby, myself. Not as viable now as it used to be, though it'll always be fun. ^_^ Your Pokémon look good, but you really need the Legendary Body Suicune nowadays, so that you can Double Gust without risk during setup. Also, you need a little more power for quick strikes after one of your heavy hitters falls. Pokémon 17 4 Eevee {Neo2} 2 Umbreon {Neo2 Holo} 2 Espeon {Neo2 Holo} 2 Cleffa {Neo1} 2 Suicune {Neo3 Non-Holo} 2 Elekid {Neo1} 2 Tyrogue {Neo2} 1 Mewtwo EX Not really too many changes here. I like Hyper Devo Spray better than Undersea Ruins because it allows you to bounce the top Evolution to your hand for later use. Trainers 29 4 Professor Elm 4 Copycat 4 Double Gust 3 Pokémon Trader 3 Gold Berry 3 Energy Charge 3 Focus Band 2 Pokémon Fan Club 1 Pokémon Tower 1 Hyper Devolution Spray 1 Town Volunteers No changes for the energy. Energy 14 7 Psychic 4 Dark 3 Rainbow All in all, a great effort. I love seeing decks that have been worked on extensively before being submitted. Good Luck! ----- Bondi kicks his feet up onto the counter again and resumes reading his Pojo magazine. KC's new deck will be waiting on him, assuming he returns. That is, unless he starts waving a stick around again.
