Subject: Deck fix: Neon Feraligatr
My favorite card, put into the newest format!!!

Return of the Beast v 0.1 for MMF

Pokemon (21):
4 Totodile
4 Croconaw
3 Feraligatr (lv 69)
2 Paras
2 Parasect (NR)
2 Suicune (70 HP)
1 Skarmory (NR)
3 Cleffa

Trainers (23):
4 Elm
3 Oak's Research
4 Trader
3 Gold Berry
3 Switch
2 Double Gust
2 Time Capsule
2 Master Ball

Energy (16):
13 Water
3 Metal

Basic strategy: get out G8r active with Parasect benched by turn 3, with 5 or more NRGs in the discard, and beat down like hell. If grass rears its ugly head, switch strategy to Suicune and Skarmory: Suicune can't get Special Conditions, and Skarmory is resistant to grass. The only thing that I wish I had in here is Slowking fodder, aside from those 2 Double Gusts. They never seem to show themselves when I need them. Also, I still have trouble with grass decks, even though I put in all those grass counters.. Thank you for your help on this deck.

Welcome back to the Mansion my people's.

Feraligatr was one of the most dominant decks before the Modified change. When Rocket-Gym was switched out, the Faraligatr card lost it's edge over other decks with the loss of Trash exchange and Misty's wrath.
(Just a little History lesson for the some of you)

Pokemon

I never liked the idea of Skarmory in Feraligatr to back up it's grass weakness. Your better off trying your luck with a Magby combined with a focus band. This little guy can be lethal. The new Magby rule can help you. Because remember, if you bench it, the effect from a sputter is turned off.

The Suicune has always been a popular idea in Gatr. The double gust advantage is quite convenient.

A 4/4/3 Feraligatr line is dependable if I do say so myself. I like it.

Trainers

Your trainer department isn't that bad. There are just some odds and ends you may wanna change up a bit. For starters, I think Copycat is the best supporter card there is. It is sensational after your opponent Eeeeeeek's. Also, it's great after your opponent Elm's. This is also why 4 should be played.

Professor Oak's research is still good back up. You want to be playing a supporter each turn to keep your deck flowing.

Drop a time capsule. You only need 1. Add another double gust. Two isn't enough.

Finally, play the 1 focus band. It's situational yes, but it's great with babies.

Energy

Since we no longer play Skarmory, we can drop all the Metal energy. You can live with 15 water.
