Satoshi's Shop

For the _last time_, Blastoise...turn that music down! No, I don't care how

much they need it! Geez...
Hello everyone. Please step this way and try not to make eye contact with
Mr. Green Thumb over there.

BLASTOISE: Blas! Toise!!

Ugh...you long-time Deck Garage readers might recognize the newest-and
only-residents of the Satoshi's Shop Plant Department. Yeah, that's
right-Dr. Crash Landon's old Venus Flytraps.

Earlier today Blastoise was sunbathing out back when he saw something moving
in the building next door. Turns out Crash's old plants were still alive and
kicking, apparently left behind when the Doc set out for his safari show.
Last I heard he was in the outback tracking Croconaws, but that's beside the
point....

Anyway, Blastoise convinced me to let him take care of the near-death
flytraps for a while, promising to do everything himself. Unfortunately, he
heard somewhere that music helps plants grow...which explains why I've been
forced to listen to I'm Gonna Go Where the Green Grass Grows" all day. The
problem is I have a failry low tolerance for country music...where'd I put
my weed killer....

Hey Satoshi, this is my fire/psychic/dark deck.  It
has done very well, winning about 90 percent of the
time.

Pokemon

2x Ho-oh (Revelation, colorless)
4x Cyndaquil (50 hp)
3x Quilava (2x 60 hp, 1x 70 hp)
1x Typhlosion (Fire Recharge)
2x Magmar (Fossil)
3x Eevee (Energy Evolution)
1x Espeon (holo)
1x Umbreon (non-holo)
1x Flareon (Jungle)
2x Sneasel

Energy

13x Fire Energy
6x Psychic Energy
3x Darness Energy

Trainers

1x Ecogym
2x Berry
3x Pokemon Breeder Fields
2x Energy Search
2x Energy Ark
1x Energy Charge
2x Energy Retrieval
2x Prof. Elm
1x Erika
1x Comp. Search
1x Pokemon Trader

I'm thinking of adding some more Ecogym, 1 more
Darkness Energy, and maybe another Typhlosion.
Basically, I stall with Magmar or Sneasel while I
power up one of the many weapons. I think that 1 of
each of the eevee evolutions is enough because of the
energy evolution power

1 last note.  I prefer not to use cleffa, since I have
had very bad luck with it. (it usually dies right
after I eeeeeeek.)  But if you think it would be
better with it, by all means, add it in.

Thanks for your help.

Heh, well with a name like Wartortle, how could I resist? ^_^

Pokemon: 20
2x Ho-oh (Revelation, colorless)
4x Cyndaquil (50 hp)
3x Quilava (2x 60 hp, 1x 70 hp)
1x Typhlosion (Fire Recharge)
2x Magmar (Fossil)
3x Eevee (Energy Evolution)
1x Espeon (holo)
1x Umbreon (non-holo)
1x Flareon (Jungle)
2x Sneasel

Yoda fits right in here with his line "Control, control, you must learn
control!" In this case, we need focus. For the sake of making this deck
viable, we're gonna kill some of the evolutions. First of all, rip the
Typhlosion line. I like originality, so that's where we're gonna go with
this deck-and due to modified, Typhlosion is not original anymore. =/ That
gives us 8 spaces, which is just enough for a good Stage 1 Evolution line.
One bugger that has always had my fancy is the Neo Discovery Houndoom. He,
for lack of a better word, oWnz0rz. =P Make a 4-4 line, using 3 dark type ND
Houndour and 1 fire type. Let's also kill the Eevee line. In standard, two
evolutions is a death wish. In their places, add in another Magmar, 3
Cleffa, and 2 Chansey.

Pokémom: 20
1 Houndour (ND-Fire type)
2 Ho-oh (NR)
2 Chansey
2 Sneasel
3 Cleffa
3 Houndour(ND-Dark type)
3 Magmar
4 Houndoom (ND)

And now, the Trainers.

Trainers: 18

1x Ecogym
2x Berry
3x Pokemon Breeder Fields
2x Energy Search
2x Energy Ark
1x Energy Charge
2x Energy Retrieval
2x Prof. Elm
1x Erika
1x Comp. Search
1x Pokemon Trader

=/!
Yowza. Let's start by taking out the 6 Psychic Energy that is no longer
necessary. With the space, add 4 Professor Oak and 2 Computer Search. Take
out the Pokémon Breeder Fields for another Computer Search and two
Itemfinders. Let's also yank the Energy Ark, Energy Search and Energy Charge
for 1 more Itemfinder, 2 Nighty Garbage Run, another Ecogym and a Trash
Exchange. Let's also take out the Berry and Energy Retrieval for three Gold
Berry and a Focus Band. The Elm need to go, so take them out for two more
Erika.

Trainers: 24
4 Professor Oak
4 Computer Search
3 Itemfinder
3 Gold Berry
3 Erika
2 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Ecogym
1 Trash Exchange
1 Focus Band

Finally, the Energy.

Energy: 16

13 Fire Energy
3x Darkness Energy

Not much left to do. Ditch one Fire Energy for a fourth Darkness Energy.
We're done:

Energy: 16

12 Fire Energy
4 Darkness Energy

Hope this deck works for you. If you'll excuse me, I have a CD to shatter,
some plants to kill, and a shellfish to harm. =/ Good luck and happy gaming!
