Well, one reason you've probably done so poorly is that you don't have a very good strategy... in fact, it doesn't seem you have a strategy at all. You also have almost no trainers, and your Pokemon--well, your choice of Pokemon blows to be quite frank and you have too many of them.

Begin by removing 3 Geodude, 3 Graveler, and 2 Golem. The whole family of Geodude sucks. This will open up 8 spaces I want you to use for Trainers. Now, you've got Dratini, which is ok... but singles of both Kangaskahn and Clefairy. Drop both Kangaskahn and Clefairy. Now you've got 10 open spots. Now, I ask, why do you have Aerodactyl in a deck that has evolution in it? Don't you realize that if you play your Aerodactyl, you can't evolve your Dragonair, or your Diglett? Take out Aerodactyl.

I also suggest you add one more to your Dugtrio. Now you have 18 total Pokemon. Your Pokemon have weaknesses to Psychic, Grass, and Fighting; but, your colorless Pokemon have resistance to Psychic and Diglett has resistance to Electric. You now have reliable Pokemon who don't depend on a coin flip as well. Your trainers are what need the most work. Currently there are 14 open spaces, but since we took out Aerodactyl, you don't need those Mysterious Fossils anymore, so take them out and open up 3 more spaces. So... let's fill up some of those spaces with decent trainers. I'm actually going to leave in Pokeball. For a common card, it's like a little mini-CPU search without the discard... it's disadvantage is the coin flip. Also, add 3 Bill, 3 Switch, 3 Gust of Wind, and 2 Gambler. That gives you a start. Since you have Dratini in your deck, you might do well with 4 energy removals as well. Energy removal is a great card for disrupting your opponent. Finally, I want you to add 2 Pokemon Traders and 2 Pokemon Breeders. Traders let you go get Pokemon you need when you have Pokemon you can't use, and Breeder will get those stage II evolutions out a whole lot faster.  Now you have room for 21 energies. You could make all of them fighting energy if you wanted, but you'd be better served if you put some DCE in this deck. DCE would power up your colorless Pokemon as well as help power up those Hitmonchans. I suggest you put in 3 DCE and 18 Fighting energies.

With these changes I think your deck will work a whole heck of a lot better. My biggest suggestion to you is to READ the suggestions that we make in all of the garages and then use them before you build a deck.
