Hello Poke-people and welcome to Martin's Mansion. Today
we will be reviewing a Crobat deck. I decided to review some modified decks
before I got into unlimited fixes because of the Challenge series.
Pokemon
Very solid Pokemon. I really do think
Crobat is best as a 4/4/3 line. I see you use Pokemon Breeder to get it out turn
2, but I really do think thats very overrated. Since Golbat has a solid second
turn 2 attack, and you can't Cross attack with Crobat till turn 3.
Lose Cleffa for another Pichu. 3 Pichu is great, and I think
the best way to go.  Murkrow is also a necessity in this deck because It
works well for mean looks on threatening Psychic Pokemon and also good for a
game winning mean look on an opposing Pichu also.
The Tyrogue is a nice
edition to this. I really don't think you should rely on it for first turn KO's.
The odds are against you, and if you DON'T go for it, you can build a Crobat a
turn sooner.
Trainers
I like it. But, as I have said before to
many, Wrath is kind of inconservative. I strongly recommend Erika/Imposter Oaks
revenge in Crobat. You draw cards, while lowering your opponents options at the
same time.
Since we play a 4/4/3 Crobat line, we are dropping all 3
breeders. Get rid of 1 Pokemon trader, you have enough drawing. Since you play
IOR, I think you can drop the RSA's. The rest of the cards in your deck are no
brainers. Finally, drop the 2 Nightly for a time capsule. It saves space and is
very economical =D.
Energy
10 would be too little, 12 would be
too much...so your 11 grass is just perfect. The 3 Darkness is alright too,
since 1 is all you usually need for a single Mukrow. The Full Heal Energy is
great tech for tight spots.
Final Deck
4-Zubat
4-Gobat
3-Crobat
3-Cleffa
3-Pichu
1-Tyrogue/Promo Scyther
Trainers
4-Professor Elm
4-Double gust
4-Erika
4-Imposter Oak's Revenge
3-Focus band
2-Pokemon Trader/ Sabrinas
Gaze ;x
2-Chaos Gym
2-resistance gym
1-Time Capsule
1-Rocket
Sneak attack (save this for late game to strip them of the threatening double
gust)
Energy
11-Grass
3-Darkness
1-Full heal energy
There you have it, a formidable Crobat for the Gym Challenge. Good luck
and I hope you win.
Also, I will look forward to the people going the
the West Coast Stadium Challenge. If you see the guy in the yellow nike hat,
thats me. I will write a large report of that event also.
Keep sending
those decks =)
