Hello Everyone. Well, I have been quite busy lately so I haven’t gotten around to doing any deck fixes. This week to make up for it I will do 2 deck fixes. Also, with WCSTS Qualifiers coming up soon I have decided that most of my deck fixes through Setember/October will be for WCSTS qualifiers(1 for qualifiers and 1 standard fix). With that out of the way here’s deck fix #1 for this week:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi, Beedrill. I send you this deck around Typhlosion, the card I think will be great in the WCSTSQ's and in the Modified Format. I'd like you to fix it for the Modified Format, please.
Remember, fix this deck for the Modified format. With all these new deck ideas coming out for the Modified format, I need a good Typhlosion deck to last me.
Ok we have a Typhlosion deck here. Typhlosion was a big hit at ECSTS and its sure to have plenty of influence on qualifiers. Lets take a look at how we can make this deck the talk of your qualifier.
Pokemon: Firstly, drop the Blaines Kangaskhan and Rockets Moltres. They are weak basics and there is a much better thing we can add to this deck. With those 4 spots empty, add in 3 Blaines Growlithe lv. 20 (Stoke) and 3 Blaines Arcanine. This will create a nasty combo with your Typhlosions and Arcanines. Turn 1, attach a fire and Stoke and on Turn 2 use Blaine and evolve for turn 2 120. Then once you get your Typhlosions up and going you can use Fire Recharge over and over onto Arcy to get Firestorm off almost every turn! If you run into a Baby or poke with 50 or less hp use Heat Tackle so you won’t lose your energies. Now, the Pokemon look set so here come the trainers.
Trainers: Ok, first off chuck the Moo Moo Milk since Gold Berry should hold its own for healing. Also get rid of the lone Chaos Gym and 2 Trash Exchange. Change the Rockets Training Gym’s into 3 Cinnabar Island Gym’s so you won’t have to worry about water weakness with your Arcy’s. We have 3 spaces open so add in 2 more Blaine increasing it to 4. The Trainers look just fine now so we’ll leave the extra space open for another energy.
Energy: Add one more Fire Energy for a total of 15 and change the 2 Recycle Energy to 2 Metal Energy for tech. This should do it for the deck so lets take one final look.
Pokemon(18)
4 Cyndaquil (50hp)
3 Quilava (70hp)
3 Typhlosion (Flame Burst)
3 Blaines Growlithe lv. 20 (Stoke)
3 Blaines Arcanine
2 Cleffa
Trainers(25)
4 Professor Elm
4 Blaine
3 Mistys Wrath
3 Gold Berry
3 Cinnabar Island Gym
3 Erika
3 Rockets Secret Experiment
2 Imposter Oak’s Revenge
Energy(17)
15 Fire
2 Metal
This deck should prove to be very competitive at your WCSTS qualifier. Good luck and hopefully I’ll meet you at WCSTS =).
