Deck Builder: Mecha 7
Deck Name: Psychic Scream

I've been working on this deck for a long time and I can't get all of the faults out of it. My idea is to stall at the beginning with Pokèmon like Mime or Kangaskahn. I do this while building up Jynx and Kadabra. My main problem is pesky colorless Pokèmon like Kangaskahn and Chansey. As you will notice I have no oaks or bills because I am afraid of decking myself against Kangaskahn and Chansey. I like the Mime for use against Haymakers. I also don't know if I should use Potions and Super Potion instead of the Energy removal and Super Energy Removal. Please help me to make this a nearly unstoppable Psy deck.

BTW: I live in Indiana and I'm 14 years old.

Hi there. My first question is why do you have Jigglypuff in your deck? You didn't mention him in your strategy, so he's probably not a Pokèmon that you use very much.  I suggest you remove it in favor of adding something to combat the "pesky colorless" problem you say you have. Most colorless Pokèmon have a weakness to fighting or electric I suggest you add  Pokèmon that are of the fighting or electric type, like Hitmonchan or Electabuzz and take advantage of the colorless weakness. For now, let's add 2 Hitmonchan, because it covers both Chansey and Kahn.

Now I suggest that you remove 1 Jynx and 1 Mr. Mime to make room to add 2 Gamblers. Gambler lets you put unused cards back into your deck while still allowing you a 50% chance to get something you can use.

I understand why you have Super Energy removal to your deck--but you might think of  upping your regular Energy Removals to 4. That would let you kick some serious energy butt.

Now, we need to make room for the energy you need to power up Hitmonchan. You would need at least 6, so, take out 8 Psychic and add 6 Fighting

So, where do we sit after the fix?

The biggest thing you need to think about here is your strategy. Your strategy is to hope you get good cards and then try to use what you get. You should think, the next time you design a deck, to figure out what you want your deck to do, first... then design the deck.

Let me know what happens with your deck.
