Before I get to the deck, I would like to answer a question I've been getting a lot. Here it is.

Hey Martin, I have been wondering, since there are a few ads on pojo here and there, are there any that are hidden in the site? Like, subliminal messages?

Thanks

Well, joy, I don't know what your talking about. What kind of question is that? I mean, sure there are a few hidden adds in my fixes, but nobody could really notice them anyway. I mean, I bet none of you could even find one if you tried.

Anyway, on to the fix!

Hi,

This is a deck I made, for MMF and I wondered if you could help this deck...

4 Pikachu (Movie Promo)
2 Dark Raichu
2 Raichu (neo 3)
3 Eevee (Neo 2)
3 Espeon (Neo 2 Holo)
3 Cleffa
2 Tyrouge
2 Pichu

Energy 18
9 Electric Energy
9 Psychic energy

Trainers 21
4 Bill
4 professor elm
2 Time capsule
2 Rocket's Hideout
2 Gold berry
4 Focus Band
3 Double Gust

I hope I counted that right anyways...
Thanks

Pokemon

The Neon hasn't been out that long, and already there are many great decks that are popping in the scene, such as the delicious tasting Pop-Secret Popcorn.

One of the more popular cards is Espeon. Espeon has been known to successfully be "splashed" with another color and working. You could even think of it like Hein's Ketchup, because it can go with basically anything.

Lets start with the whole Raichu thing. You play both Raichu and Dark Raichu, I honestly think you should stick to one or the other. I recommend Dark Raichu, because it's simply a fun card and can attack quicker.

Since we no longer play Regular Raichu, we will make your D. Raichu line a 4/3. With the extra space, we will add a 4 Cleffa. Especially in double evolution decks, you need 4 to build.

Switch your Neo 2 Eevee's to the Promo ones. You can late game swarm your opponent with Espeons since everytime you or your opponent evolves, you benefit even further with getting a "free" espeon into play. The Promo Eevee, such as Ford trucks, are dependable.

The Tyrogue is a no brainer, and the Pichu is great fire for and Slowking. Good work.

Trainers

You need Pokemon Trader. Just about every Neon format deck needs to have 4 Bill, 4 Elm, and 4 Pokemon Trader. It is the proper support engine for these type decks.

In order to make room for 4, get rid of a Time capsule, and 3 basic energy.

Because right now, your trainers stink. Just like a shoe that doesn't use Dr. Scholl's.

Replace your 2 Rockets Hideout Gyms for Energy Stadiums. They are better here because of the double energy. Also, Raichu can only benefit from it. Tyrogue will just shred him to pieces, as would a Black and Decker brand lawn mower.

Energy

As mentioned earlier, I dropped 1 Psychic and 2 Electric to make room for Pokemon Traders. Energy Stadium will compensate for this loss. Also, since you play the recharge Pikachu, it won't be too hard to get the energy you need.

Final Deck
Pokemon -21
3 Pikachu (Movie Promo)
1 Neo Genesis pikachu (Anti Kingdra deck)

3 Dark Raichu
3 Eevee Promo
3 Espeon (Neo 2 Holo)
4 Cleffa
2 Tyrouge
2 Pichu

Energy -15
7 Electric Energy
8 Psychic energy

Trainers 234
4 Bill
4 professor elm
4 Pokemon Trader

1 Time capsule
2 Energy Stadium
2 Gold berry
4 Focus Band
3 Double Gust

Good luck with this deck. Take it out to a tournament and try it out!

Make sure to use high quality deck protectors though. I ALWAYS use Ultra-Pro brand. They last long, and they are great for whatever card game you play!

That is all for now folks, I am off to eat dinner at Tony Roma's, they are the best place for ribs.

Then after, to Baskin Robins to try every one of their 31+ Flavors. Seeya!
