Yay! Deck fix! You know you all wanna read it. Go on, do it. =P >>>> This is my newest deck, called Blitzkrieg, meaning Lightning War. It uses electric Pokemon, which have been overshadowed for a LONG time. Since more electric weak Water Pokemon will be played in the game soon, I thought it would be a good time to take it out of retirement. Pokemon-15ars I thought it would be a bit funny, you know, you can probably put the pieces together. O 4x Cleffa, a must in every deck, though I'm not too into him. 2x Promo Igglybuff, I am famous at my league for this card, everyone hates me, it's in all of my decks, I've even stalled for over ten turns with this thing alone against fully powered enemies. 2x Non-holo Raikou, these are backup, nice attack that can do 20 to a benched Pokemon with only one flip. 4x Pikachu(Genisis), decent first attack, if lucky can KO a baby first turn, Agility can hold off an attack for a short time. 2x Dark Raichu, I really LOVE this guy, he can do up to 20 to each of the bench, with no risk of harming your own. 1x Raichu(Revelations), Thundershock is decent, 20 for two isn't that great, but the paralysis helps, the second attack can do 40 for three energy which isn't the greatest, but if you're in a pinched you can blow them away for 80 by dropping all your energy, but only use if you can afford it, which I usually can. Trainers-23 4x Bill, he'll be back in modified soon enough, so we can just include him, he has no down sides and should be in every deck. 3x Rocket Sneak Attack 3x Nightly Garbage Run 1x Focus Band, I'd have more if I had more(I know that what I just typed sounds dumb, but I honestly have only one in my entire collection, and I don't feel like spending all my $ on cards). 4x Berry, helps out in the early game when neither is doing heavy damage. 3x G. Berry 3x Elm 1x Bill's Teleporter, a bit unreliable, but if heads, which I rarely get for this thing, is good. 1x Rocket's Hideout, for the Dark Raichu, obviously. Energy-22 20x Electric 2x Darkness, adds to Dark Raichu's power I know it has A LOT of energy, but I can't attack w/o it and I always hate it when I can't get energy, atleast I'll almost always have enough, which allows me to use Raichu's(Rev.) Thunder Strike for 80, quite often, and if you have the energy, and the Pokemon, what do you need the trainers for except to harm your opponent. I beat Brian Jessings twice in a row with this deck against a deck he said was pratically invinceable. He was a sore loser(he was a judge at major tournies, he's the Professor at my league) he said it was because I was lucky, hey, the game is based upon luck, you can use as much strategy as you want but the foundation is LUCK! He didn't know what was in my deck, he just said it sucked because it was electric and nobody uses electric. But the fact is, nobody uses fighting because there is so much resistance to it, so why not use electricity if it has no weakness in the metagame. The deck works, it shouldn't, but it does. And if it works, use it. I don't need somebody saying,"Oh, you should build a Crobat deck," because it can beat Gatr, I want to use the cards I have, to build a deck that I like, and that I have fun with. I want you to fix it instead of my local(expert), who just wants to make my deck like all the others with the archtypes, that I don't want. Will you please just fix this, and try not to say it sucks. And I just realized how much I wrote. >>>> EXCELLENT write-up! That's what I LOVE to see in the decks sent to me. Let's get down to business, shall we? :) Pokémon (15) 4x Cleffa 2x Promo Igglybuff 2x Non-holo Raikou 4x Pikachu(Genisis) 2x Dark Raichu 1x Raichu(Revelations) Hmm...well, first things first. Why play with the Neo Genesis Pikachu when you could bust out the incredible promo Pikachu? Geez...what's it's level...ah, we'll call it Movie Promo (MP) Pikachu for now. Anyways, MP Pikachu is great with its ability to charge itself up for a quick Thunderbolt or evolution. Chuck those Genesis Pikachu and add in four MP Pikachu. Next, let's even out that evolution line by ditching a Cleffa for a third Dark Raichu. 4-2 lines are hardly ideal, and with 3 Dark Raichu your chances of getting one into play are greatly heightened. That's about all the Pokémon need in terms of tweaking: Pokémon (15) 4 Pikachu (MP) 3 Dark Raichu 3 Cleffa 2 Raikou (non-holo) 2 Igglybuff (promo) 1 Raikou (holo) Onto the Trainers: Trainers-23 4x Bill 3x Rocket Sneak Attack 3x Nightly Garbage Run 1x Focus Band 4x Berry 3x G. Berry 3x Elm 1x Bill's Teleporter 1x Rocket's Hideout Okay...well first, and I hate to do this, but even though you only have _one_ Focus Band now, I'm going to suggest you get more. =/ Take out two Berry for two more Focus Band - in MF, this card is just TOO GOOD. Remove the last two Berries for a fourth Professor Elm and a Misty's Wrath. Ditch the Bill's Teleporter for another Misty's Wrath, and kill two Gold Berries for a third Wrath and a second Rocket's Hideout. Finally, remove four Lightning Energy for four Double Gust. That's all that has to be done here: Trainers (27) 4 Professor Elm 4 Bill 4 Double Gust 3 Misty's Wrath 3 Focus Band 3 Rocket's Sneak Attack 3 Nightly Garbage Run 2 Rocket's Hideout 1 Gold Berry Finally, the Energy: Energy-18 16x Electric 2x Darkness Not much to do here. Take out two more Lightning Energy for two more Darkness Energy to heighten Dark Raichu's advantage and we're done! Energy (18) 14 Lightning Energy 4 Darkness Energy And finally, the whole deck! Pokémon (15) 4 Pikachu (MP) 3 Dark Raichu 3 Cleffa 2 Raikou (non-holo) 2 Igglybuff (promo) 1 Raikou (holo) Trainers (27) 4 Professor Elm 4 Bill 4 Double Gust 3 Misty's Wrath 3 Focus Band 3 Rocket's Sneak Attack 3 Nightly Garbage Run 2 Rocket's Hideout 1 Gold Berry Energy (18) 14 Lightning Energy 4 Darkness Energy Dark Raichu...haven't seen much of him lately. Best of luck with this original idea! Good luck and happy gaming, folks!
