Finally, the Hedgehog!!!
I keep waiting for this
thing to evolve into Sonic and go get me some Gold
Rings…but I digress….
Little Grass monster
that looks pretty good as a starter. 70 HP, weakness to
fire, which is still a weak type (sorry Infernape, you
are a fighting type in my eyes now..and the Kingdras and
Empoleons and other water monsters being released will
still keep the heat DOWN). Resistance to water = good.
1 Retreat cost, most
likely will not be used, because you are active to first
and foremost LEVEL UP to Shaymin Level X (one of them,
who KNOWS what we are getting!!!)
The attacks are decent.
1 for 10 remove damage and auto sleep. Can be very
useful at several stages of the game.
Then the 2 for 30, or 80
if affected by a special condition gets me dashing to
the binder to find out how I can affect you with a
special condition during the turn, when I don’t have to
count on 2 sleep tails. Gliscor Level X, I am looking
at you. Any of those “strikeback” Pokemon (if you hit
me, I burn or poison you) will work too. 80 for 2 is
great at ANY point in the game. Especially for a
basic.
My goodness, a
“legendary” or “special” Pokemon with real power.
Finally Mewtwo and Palkia have a friend in this!
Ratings
Modified…hard to tell as
of yet, but I am going out on a limb here. This card
WILL be played (reserve right to change when other
Shaymins are released). Will go 4/5 here.
Limited….I like it…a
lot…going to go 4.5/5 here.
