Gallade

Unlimited - Vileplume ex will make sure you never rare candy this thing into play, and ER/SER will ensure you never have 3 energy to do mucho damage. 1/5

Modified - This thing's a monster. For only 3 energy it can do up to 180 damage. It weakens by the middle of the game once all your prizes are flipped, but you can still do a 2HKO on almost anything by doing Sonic Blade and finishing up with Psychic Cut. 5/5

Limited - Tough to get out a stage 2 here. If you do it will serve you well. 3/5

Gallade Lv. 55 SW

Good morning all of you carbon based life forms! Today’s COTD is number 4 on the list of top 10 cards of 2007. Gallade easily slices it’s way into top ten by not only taking care of Blissey, but also being amazingly powerful by only flipping over prizes! 130 HP is massive, the second most on a non-EX or Lv. X card to date (Wailord will change that.) The first attack is great, not only do you make the opponent 50 HP from KO, but then your opponent switches the defending pokemon with a benched pokemon. All of this for only (fighting) and (C)! The second attack is the driving reason to have this guy out quickly. For simply (P) and 2 (C) you can do a maximum of 120 damage! The fact that Kirlia can evolve not only into this beast but also into the very helpful Gardevoir make this pokemon one mean monster!

Pros –
130 HP is nice
First attack is great
120 damage for only 3 energy!
2 possible evolutions!

Cons –
2 retreat cost is a bit big
It’s weak to Gardevoir and mirror matches

Unlimited – Stage 2’s? Why 1/5

Modified – Use this for almost instant Blissey extermination. 4.25/5

Limited – needs two type of energy… great otherwise. 4/5

Next COTD top 10, it’s the one and only mad mother poke-center helper herself!

Gallade lv 55

This card is absurdly powerful in early game but as soon as the prizes is turned its powerlevel is reduced drasticly.. Idially this is the time were Gardevoir lv X takes over but it wont allways be able to do this ..

Hit a benched poke without KOing it and this is no longer possible . Gallade is a good starter but need backup in late game.

Its first attack is very usefull and shouldt not be underestimated

Modified 3.5

Classic 2.5

Arbok14 Today we have Gallade, the new alternative evolution of Kirlia.

Name: Gallade Lv 55
Set: Secret Wonders
Rarity: Rare Holo

Analysis: Today, we have the other half of the Gardelade deck. Gallade is a stage 2 fighting-type Pokemon with a hefty 130 HP. It is a new evolution from Kirlia, which adds new variety to the Gardevoir line. It has +30 weakness to psychic and a retreat cost of 2 (surprising for how it looks). Its first attack will put damage counters on the defending pokemon until it only has 50 HP left AND acts as a whirlwind. But its second attack, 'Psychic Cut,' is what makes it valuable. You control its damage output, maybe saving it for a huge knockout or putting out consistently high damage depending on how many prizes you turn over for the attack. Gallade is very sturdy and very strong.

Ratings

Unlimited: Might be good if it is teamed with gust of wind. Use it to knockout huge threats, and it is also good against Clefable and other colorless Pokemon. (3/5)

Modified: Very good. 1/2 of Gardelade. (4.5/5)

Limited: Pretty good here as well, but stage 2's are hard to obtain, let alone get out. (3/5)
