Budew:

Unlimited: I could see this card succeeding in Unlimited based purely on the fact that almost everything is NON-Supporter. 3/5

Modified: A lot of the infernape decks run this as the starter. Being able to search Holon Transceiver and Rare Candy, not to mention Plus Power etc etc , makes this card a wonderful starter for non delta draw decks. 4/5

Limited: You typically don't pull many trainers in limited so this card is pretty much useless 1/5

considering that this will eventually turn into a roserade, its not bad, but due to its low hp, is attack is hard to take advantage of. although free energy cost if u got out on the first turn could be handy.

Oh, little green turnip how I love you, let me count the ways!

For non-holon decks this is a PRIME choice for a starter, getting you a rare candy, Transceiver or tool or any other non-supporter, non-stadium trainer!

40 HP, fire weakness, not great. no double weakness helps though! Beware of the Monferno 1 energy POP!

I like the little guy (Have I said that?)

Also can evolve not only into the meh DP Roselia that turns into the really meh Roserade, but can turn into the GOOD Roselia from LM with Flick Poison!

Unlimited...Can get you a Computer Search? Oak? Someone may use it here. Some potential 3/5 I still prefer Cleffa! Definitely saves you the energy drop!

Modified...I will give it NICE points for now...better after the rotation...4/5

Limited...It's WORST format. Not very good, unless you can get the above evolutions, 'cause there are not many great non-supporter non-gyms in this set (910 FTW). 3.5/5

Ah, Budew. Such an unoriginal name for a lack-luster card.

40 hp isn't much, and will get KO'd in one hit very early on.

It does have an energyless attack though, and the attack isn't terrible.
It fetches any "trainer" card. Now remember, D/P changed the trainer rules, there are now 3 types. Stadiums, Supporters, and Trainers. Budew can only get Trainers, and that is a serious damper on this card

James Hey Everyone its James here for another r week of pokemon reviews. Today were looking at a Baby pokemon to be exact the baby form of Rosellia, who ironically Also has a New Evolution in DP. Looks to me there trying to Pimp this family out so lets get to the review of this seedling.

Budew here is a stage one type Baby meaning it Evolves into another stage one type pokemon, Its also a Grass type which means Fire weakness in most cases, good thing here this ones only got a plus 10 weakness to fire types, it also comes with a retreet cost of 1, so far were thinking Meh on this pokemon least I am but lets look into its powers. Its poke power is baby Evolution (( big Surprise )) which means when you evolve it remove all damage counters from the pokemon, this power wont win any games but least Rosellia will come into play with no damage. Its attack Is where its potential lays. A No Cost attack that allows you to search out a Trainer card and add it to your hand for use next turn this could prove good in both Unlimited and Modified. So unless you plan to run Roserade Id Stick this in a Deck ONLY if you need help getting trainers.

Unlimited: 2.5/5 its ok Here can help get you some of the most broken Some of ....no THE most broken trainers in the Game bar none but still some of them broken trainers can do the same thing in a sense but better.

Modified: 3/5 Less ways to draw and search here give this card Some more usage but still unless your using the Roserade final Form IM not sure you want to use this…

Limited: 2/5 BUT if you draft Roserade then make it 5/5.

My name is Budew

I can can search for free

You can pick anya Trainer

So why don’t you play me

Unlimited: Could be nice but 40 is way to less without it having a babyrule.

Rating : 1/5

Modified: Nowadays it’s good cause it can search for Transceiver, Candy and stuff. But next Format there’s no Transceiver and some rules are gonna change.

Rating : 2.5/5

Limited: Good any search is good especially Free search.

Rating : 3.5/5
