Okay back again, how was nats everyone? congrats to Chris Fulop for winning haven’t heard anything from him in awhile good to know the E4 is still in progress (looks for cena), but anyways we're here with Drapion from D/P.
This card really ism’t playable, maybe for drafting, but seriously I love a stage 1 pokemon with 100 hp, the only thing I can see happening with this is trade, collection use, or if a cool LV X of this guy comes out, still lets rate it.

Unlimited 1.5) there are to many things that can squash this bug in the open format
Modified 1.5) ummmmmmmmmmmmm like I said earlier I really see nothing much happening with this card in the near future.

Drapion Lv. 41 D&P

Hello there. The COTD today is a pokemon that I’m kind of disappointed at for not being as good as his game counterpart. His first attack stinks, for 2 © energy, you can do either 20 or 40 damage depending on your luck; I’d rather have a first attack that does something like… Gets cards from discard, deck, ECT…, energy acceleration, paralyze, confuse, or put to sleep, or even if there was a poke’ power in that spot it would be better. Well, on to the second attack, for two (P) and a © you get 50 damage plus poison, it falls just short of a great attack, if it did 60 it would be better, if it did 70 or 80 that’s when you get a nice card, as 80 could knock out Infernape after he attacks due to poison… but enough on what he’s not. He does have a good amount of HP, and his attacks could be worse…

Pros-
Good amount of HP
Stage 1

Cons-
Sub-par attacks
Can be OHKO’ed by Banette EX
Three retreat

Unlimited – What don’t you get about almost nothing being good here? 1/5

Modified – It’s OK, could be better could be worse. 3/5

Limited – Good here as it can OHKO mot basics, plus auto poison is gold. 4/5

For being level 41 you’d think he’d be better,

Drapion Lv. 41 Diamond and Pearl

Unlimited: 1/5 Don't play this here.

Modified: 2/5 This guy card is OK. Its HP is good, first attack subpar, but second attack is pretty decent. However, its retreat cost is horrible. This doesn't really have any synergy with anything, which is why the grade is so low.

Limited: 4/5 A stage 1 Pokemon with 100 HP and good attacks? I'm playing this.

Drapion
I was awaiting for them to make a scorpion Pokemon, and we get Skorupi and Drapion. Drapion Lv. 41 is a psychic type (who knew) who has a hefty 100 hp for a stage 1 and deals 50 damage for PPC. He is one of the strongest Pokemon that I have now for the psychic type, and since me and my friends essentially play in a limited environment, he is a beast. Even though his first attack is barely worth it, he is a force of destruction in limited. However he has a HUGE retreat cost, so he will likely stay out once he goes out. He does ok against Infernape, just make sure he gets the first attack in, or he WILL be monkey food.

Drapion: Another stage 1 with 100HP. Weakness to Psychic and terrible attacks, he's just plain horrible. 1/5
