Today's card is Rain Castform from Delta Species

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Rain Castform, or any of them for that matter. They just really stink. 70 HP works, but 30 for 3 colorless isn't very good. Think about the damage Sneasle or Syther can put out with around two turns of energy. Exactly. This guy would be toast. Or, to keep in the season, perhaps think of "chestnuts roasting on an open fire."

Rain Castform

Unlimited:
it's power is pretty good, as you can also search for the castforms from EX: Hidden legends, which offers you a lot of choice.
it's attack is useless though, I wouldn't attach more than 2 holon energy to a castform, and 50 damage is not much.
the effects of the holon energy apply though, but Holon energy's only good effects for Rain castfom are the ones from GL and FF, when you have a lightning or fire energy attached to castform.
but then again, it doesn't do enough damage to be effective.
1.5/5

Modified:
Again, it's power just offers a variety of choices between castforms.
But it's attack is still useless, as you have to attach more holon energy cards than necessary to Rain Castform.
the HP is good for a basic but it's weakness hurts (use holon energy FF to remove your weakness).
2/5

Limited:
I think it's actually ok here, a splashable water pokemon with colorless attack costs and if you pulled a/some holon energy out of your packs, It can do 40 damage, which is pretty nice in this format.
70 HP on a basic pokemon is very good.
the weakness to lightning is terrible though -_-
