Modified - 2/5 I see potential with Tropical Wind. That's a
trainer that puts both yours and your opponent's Active Pokemon
to Asleep. However, it will lose to TM's Groundon and Fighting
Pokemon.
But I'll have to see the back-up Pokemon to give this card a
fair rating.
Limited 5/5 - This card can almost say "If you get this card,
you win."
Don't underestimate
status conditions, though. That's what I did against a Snorlax
player in the FR/LG Prerelease. I made it Confused, Burned,
Poisoned, but to no avail because he had a Gyarados ex waiting
for me.
I got a Dewgong, and he topdecked a Pokemon Reversal, and got
HEADS for his last prize. Oops, too much bias, I suppose.

Snorlax is fat. He works better when he stays asleep, so
the best ways I can think of to keep him asleep are using
Tropical Wind and/or Dark Gengar. 60 damage for 3 energy is
not bad, plus he heals if he stays asleep in between turns.
Unlimited - You can combo this with Dark Gengar, but it
sounds like too much effort for too little damage. 60
damage is really not that much in this format. I would
rather use Base Gastly. 2/5
Modified - The only thing he can combo with here is Tropical
Wind. Even though 60 damage for CCC is good, it's not
AMAZING. And his healing pokebody won't do much good when
he gets KNOCKED OUT IN 1 HIT!! 2/5
Limited - Amazing here. 90 HP for a basic is great, 60
damage for 3 energy(if you stay asleep) is also great. The
healing pokebody is great. It's a great basic. 5/5

Snorlax – Finally a Snorlax that can
actually benefit from the asleep status condition. This is by
far the funnest Snorlax to play. Remember I said fun, not
competitive. His 1st attack puts him to sleep to set up his
potion like power to use between turns to remove 20 damage. Then
if Snorlax is still asleep he can Toss and Turn for 60 damage
for only 3 energy. The tricky part is trying not to wake up
between turns that is why this card is very risky for
competitive play outside of draft.
Unlimited: 1/5 – If you really want to play a Snorlax here use
the older ones that at least have resistance to Psychic.
Modified: 2/5 – Like I said before if you want to use him for
fun but just watch out for all the fighting types that will be
popping up to counter Electric.
Limited: 4/5 – He is that good in draft. 90 HP and a possible
potion every turn and he can attack while its sleeping is just
too good to pass up.
