Upper Deck sent us a Press Release stating: "A California court has denied Konami’s application for a temporary selling and shipping ban, effectively stopping any restrictions that would have prevented Upper Deck from marketing, selling, distributing and providing game support for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game." Monday, December 29, 2008   After a long Holiday Weekend, we started the Card of the Day sections back up on the Pokemon, YGO, Magic & Naruto sites.  We're also prepping to start our 2008 Top 10 card countdown on many of our sites as well.  The Top 10 countdowns will start on Monday, January 5th!

Friday, December 12, 2008   We don't get huge news like this very often, but the big news of the day is that Konami is taking control of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game from Upper Deck.  We have more details on our Yu-Gi-Oh site today.  It's also the buzz of the Message Boards today as well.

Tuesday, December 9, 2008   The World of Warcraft Miniatures Deluxe Edition, hits streets today, and features six total figures (three each from two different factions), as well as one of three high quality game maps, an enhanced Beginner’s Guide, UBases, Character and Action Bar cards for each figure, and custom dice. Additionally, each Deluxe Edition guarantees the player a World of Warcraft Drums of War Loot card!  We have more details in our Warcraft Section today. 

Wednesday, November 19, 2008   There will not be Card of the Days posted on any of the sites today.  My daughter has some surgery today (not life or death ;-) , but it's two hours each way to the hospital, plus the surgery/recovery time ... so my whole day is shot.  We'll be posting twofers for you tomorrow for Pokemon/Magic/Naruto & YuGiOh for you.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008   A big announcement from WizKids last night: "The Topps Company announced today that WizKids will immediately cease operations and discontinue its product lines."  WizKids makes HeroClix and the Pirates Constructible Card Game.  More details are on the WizKids site.  Head over to the Pojo Message Boards if you want to discuss this sad day with others.  And if you still need your WizKids fix, we have new COTD's on both the HeroClix and Pirates sites today.  ;-)

Monday, October 27, 2008   We're heading into the Holiday Shopping Season, and things are getting busy on the Pokemon site.  The first weekend of the Pokemon TCG "Stormfront" prereleases just passed, and we've got a whole new supply of rare cards to start reviewing in our Card of the Day section.  There's a new Apprentice Patch with Stormfront cards.  Loretta's dug up a cool new Pokemon Stocking for you to check out.  MonsterOfTheLake has a new Feature Article.  The Masked Scizor has a Featured Article.  And omahanime has new on a tin he found at Target over the weekend.

Thursday, August 21, 2008  When we were at GenCon over the weekend, WOTC was selling a limited number of their "From the Vault - Dragons" limited edition boxed set.  We posted images of all 15 dragons in our MTG News Section today.  Fourteen of the dragons have appeared before in various Magic sets.  One is a teaser card from the next set.  WOTC indicated this will be a pretty rare item, as most dealers will only be getting 3-6 copies per store.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008  Bandai's new DBZ Trading Card Game uses a similar gaming engine as the Naruto Trading Card Game.  Folks have taken a liking to the new game.  With a renewed interest in the DBZ TCG, we've expanded our DBZ forums for your enjoyment.

News from Chaotic:  Chaotic Trading Card Game officially unveiled its improved online Game and Website (ChaoticGame.com) which now features a number of user upgrades to the site and the new Chaotic Pad, the application which allows players to interact and compete against each other in head-to-head matches.  Also this week the Website reached another significant milestone when it surpassed the 25,000,000^th trading card uploaded to the site.
